Here are the current Joy Division and Miami Rage Settings that they used to win win win.

Minireg Output - 270psi
LPR Setting – 57psi
Dwell – 6.5 ms
Shot Filter – 5%
Loader Speed – 14
Mechanical Debounce – 1
MROF eyes on – Unlimited
ABS - .25 ms

They were both able to easily shoot some really fragile paint (Draxxus Hellfire) that was breaking when dropped from one foot above the ground without breaking in the gun.

If these settings are good enough for them then they're good enough for me!

I use the Joy settings too, play twice per week, and have no ball breaks to speak of. Only time that I have had a formitable break was when I was playing in the rain. From what I understand, the key to minimizing breaks is to ensure that your detents are in good order. The A1 detents dont last too long and need to be replaced (from my experience) by 10,000 shots if not even earlier than that. Perhaps the 06 Ego detents are more durable?

hope this helps - btw, I use the LPR setting that the gun came set at out of the box.

The Rage / Joy settings max out around 15 bps though. maybe a tad higher? anyone know of some settings that can get the A1 shooting in the high 20 bps range...?

BPS has nothing to do with these settings. They are just so you can set up your gun to rock. Your fingers will have to do the rest.

If you want to use either PSP mode or a custom mode that utilizes the ramp or breakout feature they are capped at 15 BPS.

Feel free to shoot faster if your fingers can do it but there is no setting on the A1 that makes it into a machine gun. WDP is committed to legal settings.

I'd hope so, since they basically run the NPPL.

Turn your debounce up (or whatever so it bounces) if you want it fast I guess? Rage and Joy's the best you're gonna get without ramping.

Although my fingers aren't fast enough, the field owner where I play was clocked at 22 bps shooting paint on my gun with the Joy settings, but I am in Semi mode... you cant be in any of the capped firing modes if you want to get above 15 bps.

Speed will also have a lot to do with your trigger settings too. Just keep that in mind. You have to find that fine line where the trigger is setup to suit your fingers and yet have it set where there is a very low chance of mechanical bounce.

Now if you want to set the trigger so it bounces like a clown of crack running away from the cops, you can do that too but it isn't advised.

Your best bet - work on those fingers and get the fastest loader you can get your hands on.

Indeed, I am just using stock halo and am topping off around 18 bps, but from my experience, it is more a matter of how accurate the shooter is rather than how fast.

yes, accuracy over speed is common knowledge BUT if you can get accuracy AND speed, then that is the ultimate setup

no, i have the halo b with rip drive and v35. is that not fast enough? im pretty sure it can at least feed around 25 balls. 29 or 30 at most

Even though it has V35 board I believe it only feeds 22-24 consistently but maybe a burst of 25 or 26.

Uncapped Custom Ramping will get you to the max speed your loader feeds, i've had this up to the high 20's using a cheetah boarded Halo.

ya bleda is right, especially w. the ramping you should be getting over 15 bps, Ive heard some people say ramping is not kicking in on their A1 but I think that is user error, but if ramping isnt working then do semi w/ eyes on and increase your tr

If ramping isnt working check your kickin kickout thats the most common problem is that they have these set wrong.

Try a different Battery with your V35. I got the 10.6 v for my halo, but I'll have to use the stock Z-Code untill my Cheetah V3 arrives.....if it ever does.:pissed:
