Oh almost forgot too, if you guys really want another player on our roster, Then I recommend Devin's brother. Both Devin and his brother have asked me about him playin in PSP with us. I orignally said No since it wasn't fair for him to, since he hasn't participated in any of our practices, but if you guys are wanting an extra player, and its cool with you guys, then I think we should allow him to. What do you guys say? Besides too he owns an Angel now too.

It'll be more unfair to not let him play just because. I don't want to make it a habit of turning people away. You bring them in, try them out, then kick em out if they're no use. Don't just flat out deny them, that is unfair.

So yeah, if devins brother wants to play, sure, he will however be last leg.

oh, and dead line to add, subtract from roster and pay fees is the 11th.

Devin asked me about him joining our team. I said I didn't mind, then he asked if he could play in PSP with us. I said, I didn't think it was fair to let him jump right in and play PSP with us, cause he hasn't participated in any practices with us, but he could join with us at our next practice, and then play in any tournaments after practices. That way we all get a feel of how he "gels" with us, and we also know what is the best postion for him to play. I really don't mind him playing with us in PSP, but I just want to give everyone whos committed thier time and money first priority.

Another note guys I got us signed up to get paint from the PMI trailer at PSP. They are holding 30 cases for us, (that doesn't mean we HAVE to buy 30 cases, just that they are reserving that many for us.)

Jeremy - let me know if you need any of the vectored artwork for the long sleeved tees. I still have it all and I can change the logo to monochrome or set it up however you like... just let me know.

Personally, I don't particularly care -- but I was unaware Devin's brother actually played before he said he wanted to play with us. The thing with the free agent list is that we could try and get a D3 player on the team (we are allowed one, I believe) and maybe increase our chances just a little bit. In addition, we're all going to be tired, sweaty, and dehydrated, it's going to be hot and everyone is going to be cranky and none of us is going to want to play every game. We'll be glad for ANY extra body in the pit. Just my $.02.

Ally thanks for offering me the vector formats. All I have done so far is, printed off pictures of our team logos from my computer and gave those to the guy. He said that would work but if not, I'll take those files from you.

If anyone has any of the following, we should bring them to Chitown and perhaps have a paintball DVD insanity night one day while we're there.

WDP Life
Obscure Influence
Natural Selection
Soldiers of Misfortune
Heroes for a Day
...
Any others you can think of. I've got Roadkill and Cereal Killerz.

Devin's Brother is added as Staff.
Other things to note:
Nick needs to upload a photo. Ally needs to pay the ID fee.

just so you know, staff can't play in case something happens to one of us.

by the way, our team sponsored site is up. click the links in the main page for wdp sponsored teams. register yourselves and look for MWAOG

I can still change him. No big deal. Should I? If i do i will expect some entry money from him. (and others will get some back.).

Iplaced him as staff since it seemed undecided.

Wait so... how many staff do we actually have? I didn't realize Nick was going to be on our roster... I thought he wasn't. Is there still room for Jason?

TheDragonJedi
06-07-2007, 06:33 PM
hmmm. Not like this. were allowed up to 8 on roster. that leaves room for 2. Nick has that one spot, he was always going to be at psp with us. Just not playing. SO we've got a heck of dilemna here. we can only put one more and that is either Jason or devins brother. I'm not even sure where nicks caretaker falls. This is screwed up.

Hi, I am the infamous "Devin's Brother". Otherwise known as Avery.

I just read some of the recent posts to get a feel for what's going on. As I understand it there are limited roster spots. I don't want to step on any toes and don't want any one to think that I am imposing myself into the team. Devin asked if I was interested in playing with you. I told him I was interested. My intentions would be to earn my way onto the team and into some playing time. I am willing to help in any way I can and in any capacity. If there is someone else that you would rather use, I can understand that. I have only met most of you the one time. I also understand that it will take time and hard work before I am able to earn your respect and hopefully your friendship.

I was told that you are getting some practice jerseys. If possible I would like to get one if still possible.

paintchick79
06-07-2007, 11:55 PM
Hold up now...

Avery, I'm sure you're a great guy and I'd love to see you play and all, but it doesn't seem fair at all to let you have a spot when you've only come to one of our "practices" while Jason has come to every practice but one and has driven further than any of us except Jeremy. He's more than paid his dues.

JDemonpbt
06-08-2007, 05:10 AM
This is just my $.02 but, since we don't know the status of Nick's Caretaker, as if he's allowed in the Pits with us or not, and I'm sure if he is allowed, it will only be with a proper PSP ID card. I think we should allow Jason on our rooster as Staff. Ally that means he has to have HIS PSP ID Card. And then, allow Avery on the rooster as a player, not staff, and allow him to participate in a few games. As for Nick, this will allow him to be able to coach us, with his caretaker from the other side of the field (Spectators side). This will also help Nick out, in case of any problem arise. Like I said though guys, this is just my $.02

I got a few pennies i can toss in here:
1) As Rene said. We do nto turn any one away. Any one with a passion for the best damn marker made by man in the midwest area should be allowed atleast to be part of the group. No discriminations. (on another side note... i think it woudl be AWESOME to have such a large group of people that we can field 2 or more teams to an event... the squads could be named after the chiors of angels.. that be cool...)
2) the tiem for dicding is running out. This needs to be figured out soon.

as of right now we have 8 people on the roster. 6 players. 2 staff.

TheDragonJedi

He's more than paid his dues.

I'm not liking the tone this is taking.

As of now, I'm making the final decision

1) Nick has a spot, His caretaker has a PSP ID. This will allow him to shuttle nick back and forth, but will not allow him to be in the pit area once a game is in progress. (at least that's how I'm hoping it will work out If not, then I'll Shuttle the guy around, he's my Good buddy.

2) Jason is In. Get his ID, Pay for it, get his picture up.

3) I know Avery well enough I have no problems bringing him in. But the crew has spoken and it's not personal but we can use your coaching help on the spectator side of the netting. This means you can probably get an ID but you will not be on the roster or in the team pit area.

so here it is

ROSTER
1)ME (PLAYER)
2)JEREMY (PLAYER)
3)STEVE (PLAYER)
4)ALLY (PLAYER)
5)DEVIN (PLAYER)
6)ZACH (PLAYER)
7)NICK (STAFF)
8)JASON (STAFF)

FYI #1 What ever the team decides, I won't get my feelings hurt. Just know that I am here to help if I can. If that means filling pods and tanks or cleaning and carrying equipment, I am stilling willing to help. If my involvement causes any type of conflict within the team, I don't want that. I wouldn't be much of a team player if I didn't care what was best for the team.

FYI #2 Because of the short notice I am having a dificulty getting time off from work on the Thursday of PSP. It is also likely that I would not be able to get to the field until 9am or so on Friday. If this is a problem then it may help you make your decision.

Final word on this!!! Rene's gotta point, and its what we originally planned, so what he said is what WE ARE DOING!!! The rooster is,
Jeremy (player)
Rene (player)
Ally (player)
Steve (player)
Zach (player)
Devin (player)
Nick (staff)
Jason (Staff/pending) I have him pending, cause He has until Monday to give us his PSP ID info. If come Monday morning, he still hasn't given us his info, Avery is going to be in his place as staff. END OF DISCUSSION...
Thats Final the tribe has spoken.

JDemonpbt
06-09-2007, 04:52 AM
perks of having a PSP ID card, is it allows the bearer of the card access in the Pits/Players area. Now We are only allowed so many people in our pit, (staging area)and in our coaches box (along the neating inside of the field). These people are who we list as "staff" on our rooster. Anyone else regardless of having a ID or not, can still "coach/cheer/root for us from the spectators side of the field, (the side along the Snake). There will be a ton of Spectators, from/for every team, and they ALL will coach either for you, or against you. Kinda makes you feel like your a Gladiator in the columsium in Roman times. We've gotta win the favor of the crowd, or they will coach against us. The best way to do this, is simply WIN GAMES...

Well folks, I had a §§§§ty first day of work

....

But...

It was made better by the fact that OUR STUFF IS HERE!

I must say, everything looks incredible. Everyone's jersey is here along with 3 barrel banners, 4 headbands, and a banner. That's what I ordered and that's what we got. I must say I'm especially pleased with the headbands since all I sent them was a tileable image. Everything turned out incredible, pictures of yours truly in all her beauty will follow soon.

You'll have to use your imaginations as far as the barrel banners go.

Now my question to all of you is this: Since most of you will not be seeing your jerseys before the event, would anyone have a problem with me doing a delicate cold wash on all of these to get the new clothes itchiness out? It's an all or nothing deal, I'm not going to pick jerseys out of the pile and wash some and not others... everyone's at once or not at all.

I have 12 jerseys - if you paid for a jersey, you got one. That's...

Steve
Kristen
Jeremy
Nick
Rene
Devin
Zach
David Kain
Rick Kain
Jon
Jenny
and me.

I also have headbands for Jeremy, Devin, Steve, and myself and barrel banners for Jeremy, Zach, and Steve, as well as one (1) team banner.

MidWest AOG,

That's what I call a quality JERSEY ! You definitely have some talent there !
That is by far the best design I have ever seen. Color scheme is fantastic !

Please post schedule of Chicago PSP when you have it. Would like to stop by and support the team.

Great Job and Best of Luck Next Week ! Play Tough, Play Hard and Have Fun !

Sounds Good Ally, you can pay me back there at PSP. Also do you think I could get back my Angel tool kit from you there? As for the soft ears goes, I went bust all around. I couldn't get any from any of our suppliers at the moment, but might be able to get them later. Like you said no need for them now during PSP. Heck, you might be able to find some there at PSP. Just an idea. As for Washing the jersey's goes, yeah I'm for it. I really recommend you wash the new clothes (THIS IS INCLUDING THOSE WHO BOUGHT PANTS FROM ME) to help get rid of the stiffness in them.

Slapshot. Thanks too for the support. We plan to be there on Thursday-Sunday. We are playing Friday and Saturday, and Hopefully Sunday Too. Will post more details when we get them.

Jon, Like I just said, we'll be there on Thursday-Sunday. We might get a chance to watch your team on Thursday, but we already have a bit of a hetic schedule for that day.

GUYS PLAN ON MEETING UP AROUND 12:30-1pm ON THURSDAY @ THE KEE ACTION SPORTS BOOTH. From there we'll watch a few games, and check out the vending booths as a team. Then we are planning on having a bit of a final last minute practice/meeting session at Devin's house. He lives approx 1 mile from where PSP is being held at, and its within walking distance. Guys this is important, and we all need to be there to discuss some matters, and hopefully Ally, and myself will pass out any/all the goodies there.

We never got word on the pants. Only jerseys and they're pretty much taken up by retail outlets already.

I'll be around most of that week, I'm going to try and get as much a feel for this field as I can by watching, maybe tape a few games.

I'll be stopping by your tent to yak it up and get to know some of you.

EVERY ONE ELSE.

Who's planning on going to the ACTIONVILLAGE Sale this saturday. I want to go up and get a few things as well as stick around for the A1 drawing. If anyone else show's up we can have a quick sit down over lunch or something.

Ally can you post the artwork on our google group or something, I'd like to submit it and deal with them myself if you don't want to.

Devin, Rene FOX is open on Monday, Tuesday which would be less crowded and we would get a better chance of playing on the 07 field. Im only suggesting this because on Sunday so many teams will be out there and with just us we most likely wont be able to play on the Chicago field layout or their 05 xball field

paintchick79

Sorry about that, Rene, artwork has been sent. Make sure you tell them to tile the headband pattern HORIZONTALLY ONLY.

I don't think they will do a jersey for Avery, because they require a 5 jersey minimum for fully custom jerseys. This is because of the time required to set up the screens and the printer -- doing it for one jersey would become incredibly expensive.

They advertise they keep all screens from previous custom jerseys on file in case teams add new players to thier roosters or if someone else just wants a replacement jersey made up for them, so I don't think it'll be to much of a problem. The minimum order is for the enital order only.

"When my team places an order and we get some new members a year later, will you still have all our art work and specs on file?
Yes, when Teams place orders we keep those specs, such as logos, fonts, jersey layouts, etc... on file for any Re-Orders. You can always place a Re-Order at this link." From Animalpaintball's website.

No Kidding. It's a bad ass piece of fool mowing machinery. I emulated Max's test by freezing my balls and shooting them through the A1 and it worked, I wish I coulda taped it or something but it's been done.

The field was not nearly as crowded as you were afraid it would be. I got lost on my way to fox so I didn't get there until the time I intended to leave. So I checked the field out some and believe me guys. we can do this. This is an easy field, which is what makes it harder. There are a few key spots much like steve's pointed out in his neat diagram.

I can't stress this enough, we will need to put all our team work into this one. It's an easy field as long as were doing what we are supposed to. alot of these guys were running through too quickly and opening themselves up instantly.

if you guys dont mind, Ill post some of my teams plays and what not.

Dorito side is key. Off the break, back center lanes dorito side over one of the lane blockers, he has a good blind shot on the Dorito side temple and Dorito side corner. Send 1 person to the temple on the dorito line off break with the back center bumping out to the temple between the side and backcenter. From there they can then switch sides and shoot at the snake.

From there he can lock down the snake side fairly easy, and the dorito side player can work his way up. TRY TO SHOOT OUT THE DORITO SIDE! By doing this your dorito player can pretty much just run down the field if no one is on his same tape.

paintchick79
06-17-2007, 08:18 PM
Steve and I played at Stinger today and found it to be a pretty good field. We noted that many people played the trees (small cans off the X) despite their seemingly uselessness. The back end of the snake is blind to the back corner on its tape (and vice versa) until you get past the middle two knuckles (temples if I remember right). The dorito side is godlike. It is easy to move up and there are plenty of good angles from that side. We didn't play back or mid/center very much, but that was my impression of the field.

For any of you who haven't been to Stinger yet... it is an incredible facility. I will definitely be going back -- well worth the hour and forty-five minute drive.

I just wanted to say as well after reviewing the teams that we will be playing in the prelims the one we will really have to be prepaired for is sublime last year they went all the way to the quarter finals in div4 psp. also in the other league they participated in they were playing novice for 3 different events so we really need to be on our toes with them. Also in looking at their scores from last season not but once did they come close to a tie. They either got blown out of the water or destroyed the other team. So it looks like we will need to push hard on them. I hope this has been helpfull and its just my 2cents but i would like to hear everyone elses opinion on the different teams.

We won't need to Persuaded them, the reffing at PSP is VERY STRICK, and the fact that they will get an 3 for 1 against them if they don't leave the field should be all the persuation they should need. Although adding a couple of "parting shots" should remind them too.

Just a thought. Next Guys Lets just plan on meeting at the registation booth as mentioned. All I want us to do as a group from there, is meet a few people, get our bearings as to which field is which, and then everyone can go on thier marry own way for a few hours. After which, we'll all head out to Devin's for a brief team meeting. Those of you who are masterminding game stratiges, bring them with you to the meeting. Another note too, if your wanting to take care of sponsorship offers with Jenny, you need to tell her while we're together. Jason and I are each bringing coolers, but for beverages. We'll probably end up filling one with Gatorade and one with bottled water. I'd like to advise each and every one of you to stay the FOOK away from junk food and soda while we are in Chicago, just for the sake of your health. Soda dehydrates you and candy and soda will make you play hard for like an hour and then after that you'll feel like crap. I recommend eating lots of noodles, rice, bread, and other carb type foods, particularly the day before.

Lastly, I was thinking about doing some type of outing type deal as a team while we're there. I had though perhaps we as a team (along with anyone else anyone might like to bring along) could go out for dinner on Friday night, maybe to a Chili's or a Red Robin or some similar place. Nothing too expensive, just something to unwind with at the end of the day.

2 questions

1) Say we bring our own stuff to drink. Can we put it in your cooler
2) If we run out of stuff to drink, can we drink yours
3) I was planning on going to the pool party afterwards 8pm-10pm is it going to be safe to swim if we go to any one of these restuarants? How long do you think I should wait?
4) what time did you plan on going to dinner?

Um... ew. I don't want your nasty commie drinks contaminating mine...

Come on dude, of course you can.

2) If we run out of stuff to drink, can we drink yours

I had planned on making our coolers community coolers with beverages for all mankind (though if you wanted to toss a couple bucks my way to help cover the cost I'd appreciate it... not required though).

3) I was planning on going to the pool party afterwards 8pm-10pm is it going to be safe to swim if we go to any one of these restuarants? How long do you think I should wait?

Old wives' tale. Worst that might happen is you get a tummyache. Swim whenever you like.

4) what time did you plan on going to dinner?

I hadn't worked that all out yet, I was hoping we could collaborate on that detail, as well as the all important question: where DOES everyone want to go?

Yeah so me and Avery hit up the psp tuesday and got our ID cards its very quick if you have all the info. Then we decided to hit up some vendors so we went around to all of them kinda made a list of the things that we wanted to get. then right at the end I told him we should check out the NXE booth because i knew that there was alot of gear i wanted to get from them. So we looked at the big directory in the place and get this NO FREAKING NXE BOOTH!!!!!????? Im pissed so anyways that doesnt mean that you cant get NXE stuff there I found a booth that was like an online store that had a whole bunch of NXE stuff so if you wanna get NXE stuff youll have to buy it full price =( Well aside from all that I like the layout better this year other than paying to sit in the grandstands its all pretty good. As far as a resturant goes I love Bennigans =) But where ever is good as long as its not seafood YUK!!

What is Bennigan's and what do they have? What else do you suggest?

EDIT: Also, Jeremy - do you think you could bring that 45/45 for me again? I'm having troubles with the LP kit, and while I do plan to talk to the PMI folks about it tomorrow, I'd like to make sure a backup is available. I will also write you a check at PSP for the kit and the soft ears, so don't worry, I haven't forgotten :)

I wwas planning on it. Actually I was planning on using my 45/45, but if you need, then I can settle for using my 68/45. As for the check, make it out to the shop, and give it to Jenny. I still haven't gotten the soft ears too just to remind you, Actually I'm rather upset w/ JT Sports since we placed our order with them 2 weeks ago and still haven't recieved the merchandise. Alrighty, no problem. I can also use the 68/45 if you would rather use the 45/45, it's not a big deal at all. I will definitely try and get it resolved tomorrow with PMI, this is just in case.

A couple questions coming from the driver:

1) Apparently he saw something about being able to park at Devin's house. Is this true and if so, is it off the road or on it?

2) What time are we planning to do this meeting at Devin's house and what is being discussed there. The question is more this: do we need to make an extra trip or can we discuss these things in a parking lot somewhere close by?

3) Do we have any plans for Saturday?

I think that was all...

My house is a little over a mile away and my subdivision is on the same road as psp *lilycache* plans for getting our gear there would probly be as follows. 1st We all walk there and wait by the area to unload gear aka Lindsey road. 2nd someone will drive up to lindsey with all our gear and we unload it real quick.

As for the location of the registration area. It is right inbetween the two fields closest to the water park.

I went last year but the list of vendors posted on PBN was very, very short. I had assumed it was an incomplete list, but you never know. I'd rather just do it at the PSP, less driving around and getting lost involved.

The plan for the day is simple, sign in, check out the fields/Pits/Chrono area, part ways for a couple of hours (Like 2 or 3) so everyone can go off and do whatever they want there. Then Remeet at the Registration tent, and follow Devin to his place. I wanted to go there for the meeting for numerous reasons. 1) Its so everyone knows where to meet at for the remaining of the week and save themselfs money. 2) Its away from Everything and everyone else so less disractions. 3) What were going to be discuessing is game plans, and other "Private" matters. And Finally 4) To pass out all goodies to everyone on the team, like Pants, Tshirts, Jerseys, Headbands, and Anything else we've got.

Well I've got some sweet pictures of todays event, but since the memory card from my camera doesn't fit into the memory card reader on this computer, You'll all just have to wait...
As for how we did, well we weren't the best team out there, but we weren't the worst either. At least I don't think. Our first game, we came out strong, and lost 3 players nearly off break, while attempting to make aggressive moves. So we decided to try breaking out a bit more conservative, and pushing up the field instead. But I guess we ended up coming out to conservative and we weren't able to hold back our opposing teams for very long. We did however manage to get some elimations, and but points up on the board for us, but not enough to make the cut into the quarter finals.
The most excitment for us for the day was when our very own Mr. Nick Pagonis was allowed to play. We had been discussing with the staff of PSP about allowing him, since he is confined to a wheelchair, and suffers from SP. (No we don't mean Smart Parts). The fine staff of PSP, allowed it, and some of our games were covered by PB2Xtremes Photographers, and may be published in an up coming issue of PB2Xtremes Magazine, so keep a watch full eye out for it.
As always, we would like to credit our fine sponsors, friends, and family for all the support and help they have provided us in the last few months while preparing for this event. This team was started for the simple goal of playing the 07 Chicago PSP Event, and we have accomplished that goal now. Now we are planning to add new goals for the remainer of the season. We would like to thank, Jim at Take Aim Indoor field in Darin IL, for allowing us to practice and form our team from across 4 states. (WI, IL, IN, & OH) We would also like to thank Ms. Jennifer Dawson from Patriotic Paintball in Hamilton OH, for helping us in supplying us with numerous equipment, and paint. We would like to thank Aaron from Kee Action Sports, for the Evil paint sponsorship, and Great quality paint for this event. We would like to thank Mr. Rocky Cagnoni, for providing insperation, and tuning our Angels for the Event. (Hey Us Angel Owners stick together, and who better to stick with then the Rock Dog?) And Last but not least, we would like to give a VERY SINCER THANKS TO WDP, for making what is in our opion, THE VERY BEST PAINTBALL GUNS on the market. Without YOU guys, this would Never have happened. SO THANK YOU!!!!!

LOL

Ok, That was alot of emotional FUN yesterday!! The Second Major Tourney I get into and had a blast!! I would like to thank everyone involved you all know who you are and I'm right now too lazy to start listing them out. So big hugs and kisses to you all.

Nick was fantastically happy to have played at PSP, The whole week before he kept calling me and kept telling me how pumped he is to play and how many people he's going to mow. How's he's waited 14 yrs to do this, about how the other teams brought him along in the past just to help split the cost's of a tourney but never letting him play. And for someone who has CEREBRAL PALSY, yesterday was all he could ever ask for and more!! I'm Sure we made a little bit of PSP history, who knows, we probably paved a new road, I do know All you guys did tremendously well, Displayed major improvement and showed more determination than I could hope for. While we did lose, there are worse. I think Devin said it best when he said that we found ourselves, we just haven't gelled. And that is true, especially when we've only been together 6 times maybe this season. These teams have been together 80+ times this year already with some intense regimes. And they deserve their wins, be it that they came from higher division in another series or just lucked out. We accomplished Lot's and more, now we can only look forward and kick some more ass as we concentrate on moulding our skills together.

And Steve, Thanks. . .

Cheap? 30 bucks for 3, count em, THREE hours isn't all that cheap--if it were 30 bucks unlimited, then yeah... but not so much. I don't know about the Darien location but the owner was never at the Madison location and had 2 20-ish year olds running it. He gave these guys a very very small sum of money each month to cover rent, paint, ref payment, and other expenses, hence nothing really ever got done. The facility itself was terrible and when they switched to the indoor location it got even worse, with prices similar to the one above. The field was barely big enough to hold drills, let alone play actual games.

I see what you're saying but $30 is still super cheap when it comes to running drills. 3hrs is all you really need when you train hard. A day of paintballing allow's us to sit a few and play then sit again, but for week to week training Reball drills coupled with a few days in the gym is perfect. Few of the people that work there now used to work at take aim too.
Oh and they also have a skate park. So that is a plus for me as well.

Hey,

Yeah what I said was I think we need to bring an outside person to the team who will be our team's coach, and not a player. I have some contacts I got while we were there at PSP, for some possiablities, I want someone who really has NO Previous Connections to any of us, to help maintain a more balanced aspect, and is not bias towards any of us. They're job will really be running team practices, and composing drills. That way its not Me, or Steve, or Rene, or anyone else making up the stuff as we play also. That person will also be in charge of composing the teams game plans and follow up plans in case of verious situations. What ever that person decides or says Goes, and is absolutely final unless the Whole team is against it. That person will also get their fair say into any team related issues.
The whole point of having a coach is to prevent future team disarray and help the team progress in future events. I'm only going to look for someone to fill this postion, if ALL TEAM MEMBERS AGREE to having a Coach.

ON another note: I was elected team Captain by you guys at the beginning of our practices, if we elect to fill a Coaches postion, then I vote, we reorganize our team, and hold a new election for the Captains postion. Having the coach, will in effect make the Captains job simply arranging team practices, Scheduled events, and making sure we fulfill any required obligations the team has. (at current all obligations have been meet). I think we need to break down into assigned duties as is:
Captain- Maintains the Teams functions.
Coach- Maintains all team Members, and Practices. IS in charge of teams Rooster and rotating players in/out during games.
Treasurer- Is in charge of collecting all finances from the team's members, and paying for events, or the teams needs (ie, equipment)
Quartermaster- Is in charge of ordering the teams needs, will work with the Treasurer on what is avalaible per budget.
NOT one single person should be allowed to maintain two different postions.

PS. Rene, and Devin, you guys still owe for the pants, just wanted to remind you guys.

I personally have done reball many times at a facility that used to be out by fox but closed. My opinion is that its great if all your doing is drills but in the end I think the scrimmages at fox against other very GOOD teams will help more. As for the tournament I would like to go I'm not a 100% sure though but I would like to unless something else comes up. Zach I would like to practice this sunday so yeah I should be there. just lemme know what time. Oh and jeremy would you mind ordering a practice jersey for Avery he would liek one.

Rene, It was just a reminder, but yeah I can hold off a week. Devin, as for getting Avery a Practice shirt, Can do, I just need to know what size he wants. Personnally I think he should go 1 size larger then what he normally wears. As for the Tournament, I can try and make it, only if we have at least 4 other players for it. Entry fee is same as the last time, $300 per team, and its still bring your own paint.

Cool Thank you. :-)

I'm Trying to get finances in place that were put off during the week. I'm still not positive If I'm 100% for the tourney but it's very likely. I'd much prefer to wait till August, I'd like to get some personal training and conditioning done during the next month.

I am a borderline large / XL so if they run quite small or shrink alot then maybe a XXL. Let me know how you want to settle up on money.

This is Tiresome and I think it's time for a little more direction than this. Hear Me out and bitch about it later if you'd like cause I'm gonna start turning some things around. Cause without direction we aren't ever going to "Gel".

See below as I address Specific Issues:

That way its not Me, or Steve, or Rene, or anyone else making up the stuff as we play also. Last year Devin and I had alot of success running drills that pretty much drove you to the ground. I don't make §§§§ up, I run for real. Next "Practice" Session I do expect everyone to get thier heads out of thier asses and start following these drills by the book. My problem with our first few practices was that nobody wanted to do what the other person suggested. If this is going to be a problem, find yourself another team, I've had more than better success when I was captain of our track team for 4 yrs straight, and they don't normally let freshmens be captain, I tried several times to coordinate our drills but we were always drifting away on personal interest

That person will also be in charge of composing the teams game plans and follow up plans in case of verious situations. What ever that person decides or says Goes, and is absolutely final unless the Whole team is against it. This is a very good idea seperate from the Drill Captain. It's the only outside help I think we really need. Although there were some real good plays put out by two of us, just to have them overrulled (this has to stop)

The whole point of having a coach is to prevent future team disarray and help the team progress in future events. I'm only going to look for someone to fill this postion, if ALL TEAM MEMBERS AGREE to having a Coach.Again a good Idea.

ON another note: I was elected team Captain by you guys at the beginning of our practices, if we elect to fill a Coaches postion, then I vote, we reorganize our team, and hold a new election for the Captains postion.
Don't think you can be captain, then I will. I know I have what it takes to direct a team cause that is what I did in college.

Captain- Maintains the Teams functions.I'm willing and able to take this position, however I will also be running Drills.
Coach- Maintains all team Members, and Practices. IS in charge of teams Rooster and rotating players in/out during games.Steve, I feel confident in your ability to effectively communicate with your team, and you displayed a great deal of organization when it came to our PSP Roster.
Treasurer- Is in charge of collecting all finances from the team's members, and paying for events, or the teams needs (ie, equipment)Not Sure who fits the bill for this better than steve again if he's going to be in charge of the roster, might as well handle our money like last time.
Quartermaster- Is in charge of ordering the teams needs, will work with the Treasurer on what is avalaible per budget.Jeremy, You and Jenny pretty much fit this description perfectly, the fact that you guys have been our middle man since the beginning makes me think you should concentrate more on this.
NOT one single person should be allowed to maintain two different postions.

On top of that I can't stress enough that if you are going to practice, practice with a team member. Ally with Steve ; Me, devin, zach and Avery ; Jeremy with (hey how about finding someone in ohio that is willing to split travel costs with you as well as practice with you while in ohio) This way we can concentrate on running intensive drills specifically when we are together.

BTW J, This isn't directed at you or your comment, I only qouted cause it made it easier to address specific points.

there is one more thing we also need to build..
camaraderie
it is very simple.
we should just get together and play. reqball. scrimmage... whatever.. just to play, and have fun together. No other goals but to play the sport we love. yeah this may sound lame and kinda silly...
but:
I remember a couple of games i played with good friends. No one could defeat us when we played together. These were also the guys i was roommates with in college. We would spend hours on end playing Counter Strike together in the same room.
Now.. that kinda of play and friends ship built a trust and understanding between us. We got to the point where we actually communicated very little, but just "knew" what the others were doing. Ally, I felt that a bit in a few Games you and played at practices and the event it self.
Now i know this is gonna be kinda hard... being that we are all many miles apart.
So as important as practicing and drills are... there is also something to be said for just playing and having fun.
With that said.. do any of you guys play any online games? WOW? Socom? Gears of War? anything? Greg Hastings?

Wish I still had my XBoX360, I'd be all over Gears Of war, I do have Hastings for ps2

My whole point in having someone else outside of our core group of people, is simply to make our team, "OURS". When we have someone like myself or you Rene, being the "leadership" then the team no longer is "Our" team, but becomes "Rene's" team or "Jeremy's" team or whoever's team. Just like there at PSP, I made some points to Steve about game plans, I listened to his ideas and had some disagreements over some things. That is one of the key reasons we fell apart. Steve didn't want to listen to me, and vise versa. So in the end, we didn't work together as a team. Having an outsider come in, will end that kinda issue.

Understood Jeremy and I'm not saying it's a bad Idea, you can't have that kind of mentality when running a team. And I'm sure but hope that wasn't how you were looking at it. We need to remove that from our way of thinking, This isn't anyones team except for AOG and WDP, they are the driving force behind "US". This is what we have to build upon, the US factor. How do we know an "Outsider" wont start acting like it's "His" Team? Then start making things difficult for us? I already feel like I'm starting to connect with a few of you, whether you like me or not, I'm getting a feel for everyone and I know I can get us to Work as one, cause all I've been doing is scoping you guys out and sizing up your skills.

Like Ally and Steve. These two played the dorito side so well, I was taken aback when I thought to myself, ALLY YOU BETTER TAKE OVER STEVE'S POSITION IF HE GETS TAKEN OUT, and Sure enough She was already there like she read my mind. Zach was a powerhouse when it came to the snake, he was making those moves like second nature, Devin Too. Me, I always thought I was a front guy, but PSP proved me wrong. I suck like hell in front, and my voice is well suited for communication so what better than to play back and work more on communicating. You Jeremy, I've got you figured for a back player, You're just as loud as I and have the zones down to par. So work on communicating to your team, Not directing them.

All in all if we spend too much time worrying about who's doing what, we will never get anything done. I'm very amazed at how much more difficult this is than what I assumed when we first started out. Being from Different states, Different towns and a different nationality brings prejudice and preference, and it has to stop now. I like all of you, I'd join you guys again in a heartbeat because deep down we've all got two things in common, our love of angels and the love of the game.

And to answer your question Zach, No it's not what we've been doing. In fact that is probably why were having such a hard time. We aren't really having fun, we've been alot more busy preparing for PSP than actually having fun. At least that's what I think.

Listen Guys, and Girl. I know it sounds like Rene Is just running his mouth But I've put alot of feelings into this and what I had to say. that is something I cannot express visually and can only hope you understand. I don't mean to rant and sound like an ass but something needs to be done, and if no one will then I will.

No Jeremy...
It is not "I didn't want to listen to you". I place less value on the opinion of some one who first stepped out on the field Thursday before we played, who also admitted to not have played at all since the last practice 1 month prio
