Well just trying to figure out whats going on with my A1... I keep it in semi mode and when I start shooting nice strings of paint, the bolt or ram gets stuck forward and the air leaks like crazy.
Does this sound common or is it just me?

It's not common. You might want to send it in, since I encountered a problem similar to what you're describing and Bob fixed it up for me.

You could send it to Badlands. They have the only Canadian MT I believe.

Yeah we have 2 fields around Sudbury, myself and about 15 other buddies play every weekend, but we made our own field... it's alot cheaper, we rent big co2 tanks and we have about 4 scuba tanks, with a bus beside our field to store stuff in... I've been playing for about 8 years... I just call up my buddies and whoever wants to play... I fill up all the tanks and order the balls then we play.
I save about 200$ a week by not going to paintball parks.

Try removing your exhaust valve and inspecting the white plastic seat. You want to look for a rough or extruded surface on it. Or a separation of the white seat from the valve. If this is the case you'll need another one. Mine was leaking like crazy and it turned out that I had a bad one.
I can't think why it would be your ram getting stuck. It just has very little resistance in the tube. You could remove it and see if it moves freely. You can also just tip the gun back and forth. You should hear the ram moving gassed or not.

I am currently experiencing the same problem. Bob told me to take my bolt out and try pushing the pin it, and tell him if it clicks. I did so today, and it did click, I haven't heard back from him yet, but apparently this isn't unheard of. Try pushing your bolt pin in and see if it clicks; if it does you know we have the same problem, even though I don't know how to fix it yet.

i played with one_eye today and it was the breech holding the bolt forward. first we tightened it up a little that made it worse, so we loosened it off and now it will do a string of maybe 20 and get stuck, so there must be a sweetspot to set it to.
After to reset the bolt pin did you still have a problem with bolt stick?

I think you are talking to me. Yes, after I reset it (pushed till it clicked), I shot a few times until the problem happened again and when I tried to push it in again, it clicked. In other words, it doesn't seem to stay in.
I actually already sent you an email about this.
Charles
I have not received any new emails. Give me a call on Monday and we will get you all sorted out.

I checked out the pin situation today and well it looked fine to me, tried pushing it in and it wouldn't move. And tried playing with the breech door by tightening and loosening and well just can't seem to get it... getting awkward playing with one hand on the trigger and one on the breech door during the whole game.
