I was playing yesterday w/ the a1 and it was perfect for me all day long but i did run into a problem. I couldn't get my a1 to shoot over 230 fps it was kinda annoying cause i couldnt get the range i wanted but i still schooled suckas with the a1 shooting low velocity :D

anyone got any ideas on how to fix this problem?

btw my dwell is at 6.5ms

Whats your tank output pressure and LPR pressures?

my lpr is whatever it was when it came from the factory.

tank pressue is somewhere between 480-500psi (LP Pure energry tank)

same problem here. I just got over the 10k mark, with the a1 working very good. played wednesday to find that I couldnt chrono over 130, Odd being that I havent made any adjustments to my tank, or marker..

using rage boston settings..

tank output 460..
mini reg 270 ish ( had to flip 1 spring to get it there)
lpr 58 ish...

I just cleaned and relubed the ram, & mini reg. Ill chrono it tomarrow to see if that helped..

we had the same problem with one of team mates gun. was struggling to get over 240fps. we pulled out the one and only shim out and that got it shooting 300fps easily. but then after shooting a couple of boxes the problem has come back - shooting between 240-260fps - but now we've got no shims to pull out. if someone could point us in the right direction to where the problem might be i would be grateful.

i actually switched my tank over to a HP Pure Energy tank. The gun shoots perfect now.

just tested my setup, after cleaning and relubing everything the low velocity is still there.. cant shoot over 230 fps. still using the joy/rage settings..
*paint to barrel match is good.. I did try my hp tank with an output of 850 psi, and it worked alright, the question is for how long.. being that my lp tank worked fin until the 10,000 rnd mark.

*question for an mt* Why is it, that with the a1 set up to "optimal settings" people are having a very hard time getting the velocity over 230?


edit* just spoke with bob from fma, he stated that my marker is in need of a new exhaust valve.. kinda sucks because they are supposed to last at least 20,000 shots..;( ahh well , hope that helps..
