I had Bob adjust the LPR on my A1 at NPPL this weekend. When he was finished he kept holding it up to his ear cause he thought he heard a leak. After a few times, he concluded it was not a leak. However, I just aired it up at home today, and it is a leak. THe leak is coming from the rear of the gun, right where the LPR would be.

I turned off the eyes, and I only had enough air to fire about 10 times. So the tank was very low. This never happened when the air pressure was low before the adjustment.

The Question: Was the leak due to the adjustment of the LPR, or due to not having a lot of air in the tank?

I would like to know, so I will have enough time to send it in for repair before a major double practice this weekend.

Take it to a shop and get the tank filled, its most likely lack of pressure but its better safe than sorry.

Yes, if the piston is not seated correctly it can leak, however the leak would be very severe and not questionable at all. We know that was not the case. It is possible there is a minute leak from the solenoid gasket which would have been very hard to hear with the compressors and field washers running. Just give me a call, after you have air and I will help you out.
