I may trade for an A1, but I have some questions.

Hey guys, I made this account to ask you some questions as I'm not all that familiar with Angels. I shoot an Ego, and I love it. Today in my B/S/T thread I was offered an Angel 1 straight up, so I began some research. I found that there were some eye cover and efficiency issues. On PBReview.com, several people voiced concerns over the roto-breech. I'm still waiting to hear back from its owner as to the condition of the marker and if there are any existing problems.

So I guess one of my big questions is how do they feel? If you've shot both an Ego and an A1, you'd be a big help to me. How does kick and noise compare? Have they resolved the eye cover issues? If there is anything else I should know, feel free to tell me about it.

The eye cover problem has been fixed for the most part. The roto-breech isn't really an issue anymore if you use a breech o-ring from an older model angel it will stop the roto-breech from moving. Overall you know what people in this forum are going to tell you. I say go A-1.

I have 3 teamates that shoot Ego's and thats the only gun I would shoot other than an Angel. I've used their markers in some games for kicks. My A1 compared to my teamate Ego's:
Efficiency: About the same
Kick: Advantage Angel
Noise: Advantage Angel
Weight: Slight Advantage Angel
Balance: Advantage Angel
Accuracy: Same
Looks: Ego
Aftermarker Mods(Boards,Appearance Items): Ego
Maintenance: Same
Reliability: Same (with the exception of the first A1s, Eye Covers which was quickly fixed).

First, let me say I just bought myself a red A1 (can't wait to get it), but I've recently been to a near pro shop and held in my hands both an A1 and an Etek, and walked out with the impression that Egos are somewhat lighter...
