My New Mamba Cobra has only 3500 shots on it. I was In a Tournament this last weekend and it shot great for 5 games, then it started to shoot the ball 20ft. and then it would rip a couple then it would shoot 5-6 ball 40 ft. then It wouldn't even shoot them out of the barrel. It was acting like it was out of air but I still had 2000psi in the tank. Then I checked my LPR and it was reading 8.0 and on the angel gauge it was reading 117. I know on the LPR It is suppose to read 6.6 and on the tool gauge it is suppose to read 95. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be???? I even change regs and that wasn't it either.

Well your pressure is too high as you have stated, it could be blown, but its no new. Whats your imput pressure? It could of spiked, but I doubt it...my 2 cents. Might wanna wait till a IR3 user posts.

my friend had a similar problem, not exatly the same. He cleaned and rebuilt his minireg and that fixed the problem.

sounds like a complete rebuild an tuning is in order. whip out that angel tool kit and get started on resetting the ram stroke, snap ring, lower the lpr pressure, and clean and rebuild the minireg. sounds like everything on your gun is out of wack. so like i said, give it a complete tune up and you will be golden.

Thanks for the replys guys. I will give the mini reg a whirl. If that isnt it, I'll have to tune it all. Thanks again for the help. If there are inputs out there I sure would love to here them.

I knew this sight was awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have a On/Off? Mine was moved to off durring one game, had the same problem was giving air but not consistant, still dont know how it happened but for sure if you have a on/off check this.

if your running a screw in tank and also a screw in wiht an on/off, you have to make sure the air is completely on or it wont work right... 3 angel users around here had that problem, 2 had on/offs and 1 had a regular asa with a preset, the on/off guys diddnt turn the knob far enough so it was getting irregular flow, and the asa dude just diddnt screw his tank all the way in, he turned it one more quarter turn and it worked fine....... try it, it may work

ffry........ironically you can also experience the same problem by screwing the tank in too far, sometimes the nub in the ASA is too long, and it will actually block the output hole restricting air flow, sometimes you might try giving it a slight turn back too

yeah good call emmit, just fiddle around with how far the tank is, i know that nitro duck presets have slightly longer pins than say PE so it may make a diff
