What is the difference between the two? is it mostly cosmetics or are there any major performance differences? I have heard (rightly or wrongly) that the G7's have problems (no specifics) but that they just kinda...break easily. Is this true or are there too many idiot owners?
Thanks

well the main difference is the lack of the lcd screen and rechargeble battery the the fly has but the gat doesnt. mechanically and functionaly the two are the same marker. with the new software for the speeds the modes of fire are basicly the same also. i own a speed and a g7 and have had no problems what so ever with either of them. if you dont do anything to intentionally screw up your marker you should have no major problems with it.

ya the only difference will be the LCD, and if u treat the gun well there will be no problems

Triple That! keeping it clean and making sure it's lubed just right has brought nothing but JOY to my games. it's when you start taking it apart for no reason and thinking your an MT is when the §§§§ hits the fan.

Watch nato's little G7 vid then go watch a crappy A1 vid...
Have owned an A1 str8 from the box... crappy gun...great idea...but still a gun that leaves a hell of a lot to be desired.
My g7 fly has never let me down from day one. Also have another G7 and a gaT. All of the same platform ...the guns shoot very consistently to one another and leave nothing to be desired.
