I have an A4 Angel that I'm just lovin. I have tried to sell surplus gear from my kit bag to get an air system for my A4, and one such item is an immaculate 2K1 cobra LCD. I've had no inteset/offers from the UK, so have resigned myself to keep it as a back up.
My question is this, there are several boards out there that will improve performance (read into that SPEED). Is there a board that can be installed that does not require eye's, and still give a fast rate of fire?

The preditor board from Tag sports will work without eyes, though it is an option!

Cause I can only imagine the response you would get.
On a side note, that is one very nice Angel. Haven't seen a Cobra with that milling before, makes it worth keeping I think.
And as far as new boards go, I have a couple TAGsportz Predators and a Lucky UN1 and they are both decent companies. If you want to be able to swap programs 'on the fly' though you really cant beat the Lucky, as it uses DM4/5/c Chips.
There are also the Tadao boards that use the DM chips, but I don't have enough Angels to justify buying one :(
EDIT: Spelling :dunno:

Thanks Blister. :biggthump It has crossed my mind to try and sell it in the states, but who would be prepared to spend extra for the shipping. You're talking an extra $60 -$70, above the asking price.
Sure you guys over there really appreciate such markers, and lets face it you have a greater selection of paintball stores, suppliers and custom shops. You guys don't know how good you have it over there, honestly.
Back to cnghams comments regarding the predator board being suitable without eye's. Does anyone know what the achievable BPS would be? Surely it would be prone to chopping? Is there much "tinkering" required, or does the board just drop in?

The board is pretty much a drop in. It also runs off of a 9 volt battery so it reduces weight. The BPS rate is adjustable up to 31BPS I believe. It might be prone to chopping without the eyes installed at very high rates though.

That's fast enough for me. Would I have to have any modifications done to the pneumatics?

I have 3 predator'd Angels, all of the Predator boards are drop-ins. I can get 18 BPS with a Halo B, but I limit it to 15BPS with an X-Board Revy and have yet to chop.
The most you would have to do would be snap off some of the pre-scored tabs on the board for an exact fit.

you could throw on a delrin trigger, i have no probs walking 15 on the stock board.

I have just bought a delrin wave trigger from FBM for my A4. If thats a success, then I may think about fitting one on my LCD as well.
