I am selling Volumizer adapters that allow you to install a volumizer on your G7, G7 Fly, Gat or 06 Speed. These adapters were designed to secure the valve stem at the correct length(stock length), while a volumizer is assembled on the gun. The minimal clearance between the adapter's outer diameter and the inner diameter of the marker chamber, keeps the valve stem concentric with the bore of the valve body. They are manufactured from 6061 T6 Aluminum and can be installed in minutes. I use these on my Gat and my G7 and I consistently hit 25 bps without any drop off with my LPR set at approximately 50. The volumizer looks great on the marker and people at my local field are always asking me how I am able to use the volumizer.

UPDATED

THESE ADAPTERS HAVE BEEN REDESIGNED AND ARE NOW ADJUSTABLE. This allows you to fine tune your valve and spring compression force.

Anyway, take a look at the pictures and PM me if you are interested. I will ship one to your door for $20. I prefer Paypal but will take money order also. To place an order, please PM me.

Thanks,
Mike

This is the coolest thing I have seen for the G7 platform. Nice work.

A few more left from the first batch. Get them while they last.

Hodge1, how deep is that hole for the valve stem? It looks like you have drilled it at least deep enough to locate the valve stem in the stock position. Could it be drilled deeper? I have never had a G7 apart, how much is the valve spring compressed when you assemble the end cap? It doesn't look like it could be very much.

I drill the hole to simulate the stock hole depth. The compression length of the G7 spring is so short that it takes very little change in hole depth to reduce the compression force greatly. I have begun to vary the depth but I have yet to run my test on them. Initially I was more interested in insuring that valve closure was consistant than I was in reducing the needed hammer force. I will get back to my testing shortly and let you know.

As it should be. I couldn't resist wondering about it though.

No doubt. You make a good point. I will let you know.

i got one of these and put it on my Fly, it works REALLY good, here's my assessment-

great product, no blowback up the ball stack, i also got the G7 adapter from CP and put a CP reg on my G7 Fly so i can run a HP tank, my settings are-

dwell - 10
lpr 55 psi
OP PRESSURE ! - 160 psi!!!!!
mean velo setting - 285 fps
shot variance - 280 - 287 fps

not sure what my yeild per tank is yet, but i am assuming it probably 1300 - 1400 shots per 68/4500 fill, one halo/ approx 160 ball per 500 psi. small drop in yield but huge significance in shot grouping and easy on paint too, not that my FLy was a blender anyway....

hodge1, do still have any of these? I have an 06 Speed now and I need new parts. :)

Sure do. I have a newer version that allows you to adjust the valve spring compression length. It works great and allows you to fine tune your valve.

I just installed Hodge1's new style G7 volumizer adapter that allows you to adjust the valve support position and WOW, nice piece. It fits perfectly and is very well built. I have not shot my 06 Speed with the volumizer yet nor have I used the adjustment in any tuning, but I am sure it will work superbly.

What kind of Volumizer do you have on that Blue G7?

That is a Cobra volumizer but the adapter is adjustable and works with any volumizer.
