I thought I ditched FSDO when I left Impulses..... but it's come back to haunt my Dark IR3.

Anyone have this problem?

For those who don't know, if I leave my IR3 alone for like 10 minutes and then try to fire, the first shot is WAY underpowered and sometimes the valve isn't even hit, the shot is SO weak. So instead of firing, it double feeds and then barrel-breaks.

hmmmmm, never had this problem; the only thing that I have that relates to this is the first shot has a really high fps or remotly high. If there's a ball in the breech it shouldnt double feed, maybe check your lpr make sure thats ok then check out the detent to see if its not broken or anything.

It could also be the snap ring.

I've had this problem with my IR3 and with my LCD. I hate it. I have found out that it is the snap ring in both occasions. I take mine out. (snap ring is the inset allen screw in the ram) apply a bit of blue loctite and then re thread it back until i feel it just snug. Do not overtighten or ur gun will not cycle, u can test with the gun aired up when tightening it. that works good so u can feel when it it tight enough. but a 16th of a turn past when u feel resistance is what i do. It seems to get rid of it.

I'mma check on that as soon as our local Angel Tech comes up to the shop. Might be monday.

Hmmmm

The problem is back. It's not the snap ring, atleast we are fairly sure of that.

The problem is worse than ever now. Before it took 1 shot and then it was back up to speed... now it's taking as many as 4 shots to get a full powered shot.

Clean the mini-reg. Check the LPR. If you say it's not the snap ring, so be it.
