Just to be sure, did you put the small spring inside the volumizer?

Right. So if you take the volumizer off and the valve stem out of the gun, can you easily press the valve stem in the volumizer and feel the spring working?

Yea it comes wiht 1 spring but it stays in volly..the rod gets pushed from the hammer hitting the end and pushes the spring.

It almost sounds like it is defective. While it might not be easy to remove because it is a tight fit when the spring is inside the volumizer, it should freely move when you press into the spring.
This is the old, longer volumizer but the spring should look like the one in the pic:

I use a very small magnet that I have attached to the end of a dental-type pick. The shims will stick right to the magnet.
To get the whole LPR out, you also need to remove the minireg assembly. There is a pin that is in the minireg assembly that goes into the LPR body. That is what holds it in place.

Got it all up and working.. Thanks for your help it was the spring. Went down to the hardware store picked up a spring set and made me a custom spring! Just installed my jds lpr as well and still breaking them in, Has a little kick but still have to dial it in. Does the adjustment screw on the volly help the kick out at all? Lpr 45ish dwell 8ms mini reg 200. fps = 290 +-5 shoots fast as hell now, recovery is way improved. Now all i need is one those gauge's boost monkey sells. Thanks by the way trig you are the man on this board..

Everyone's setup is different. Mine is pretty far in there, LPR 40, Dwell 6, Input 250, 272 fps.... It works extremely well.
If it works for him, leave it be.
