I want an add-on set of .685, .687 and .689 for improved gas efficiency with small bore paint and reball (.684-.685) for the Angel One.
And yes, Frazer mentioned they're already considering it and he mentioned a 16" front also. That sounds like a sweet little package.

So how about it? Since the A1 set is so high quality and lightweight, it would make the A1 completely aftermarket-barrel-independent.

Best idea ever.....what they need is an expansion kit that comes with a sweet case, three smaller backs and a 12 and 16 inch front. that way, you slap the kit that came with the gun in there and you have the world's best 9 piece kit. oh yeah, I would give my first born for that.....when I have a kid, that is.

I have recently found a field with paint that was extremely small bore, like .682. I think that you should seriously look at a smaller bore kit. I am allready looking to the aftermarket to fill this need. If I knew that there was a smaller kit being released in the near future I might wait and purchase genuine wdp products as I would really love to support my guns manufaturer first.

yea, I pretty much use a 691 back all the time anyways, a smaller one for reball would be cool. I use just the A1 barrel kit as it shoots as good as anything else I have. All I really want honestly is a 16in tip, that would be nice.

I talked to ken on the phone yesterday and asked him about this. He said they are supposed to be out shortly but didnt give a date. It would be sweet if the expansion kit came with some type of case to put them all in like the SLY kit or freak.

^I'd prefer just having the barrels. Don't complicate things or WDP will never release them.
Just get a neoprene barrel case, they're both good and cheap. I have one from Extreme Rage.

But sure, if you want to go overboard, a WDP logo soft case in Nylon like the one SLY has would be nice.

I agree with this, I can always get a case to store the barrels in, unless WDP has already set something like this in the works, in which case I would be more than happy to use that.

wow a new kit, that would be awesome. the stock kit is effective, but could easily be an amazing kit. with three smaller backs things would be perfect and i would definately buy one. but its christmas eve and i have not heard a single word on these kits

No word yet. The stock barrel is very nice. It will be sweet to have an effective barrel that actually matches the gun.

Alright... its been over 4 months since it was first confirmed that the new barrel was going to be made... anybody got an ETA???
(I guess WDP was too busy fixing software, bolts, eyecovers, and valve steams to care about about little nicities like paint-match...)
But hey... I love my Angel and i will stay true to her. ;)

They really should try to expand their market share by selling barrel kits for other guns also.... They already invested the R&D into making a kit for the Angel... Why not put different threads on it and sell to other markers as well. The A1 comes with a great barrel kit even though the sizes may be a little off.

I'm patiently waiting as well.

I'm kind of a barrel whore, so I'd really like to see a new kit with a 10", 12", & 16" with three more back sizes all in a nice padded/zippered case with the infamous Angel A on it.
