I haven't played with my 05 in about 2 months. I noticed the other day when I got it out the board never shuts off. WHen I flip the switch the LEDs on the board flash very dim and it drains the board. The marker won't fire, but the battery gets drained.

Any ideas?

I've check all the connections and cables, nothing is cut or broken. Any ideas?

I had the same thing happen to my board. You probably got shot in the grip, and now have paint residue underneath the power switch connector. With the switch off, enough current to light the led is trickling across.
Grab a can of compressed air, and blow out the paint underneath the connectors.

Thanks a lot and the last time I was out I did take a trigger shot. I thought I cleaned everything off but I do recall some left over paint in that area I could remove. I'll see if that fixes the problem.

i put in my tadao board last night and was wondering something similar to this thread. seems the tadao has little/no protection as compared to the stock board. anyone have problems with moisture?

i have been having the same problem with my board not turning off. i blew out the paint the best i could, and it helped a little, but it will still stay on once in a while.

As far as I know, no one has had problems with moisture on the tadao boards.
