I just bought this gun.. It's a 2k1 or 2k2 Adrenalin LCD.. Stock except for the vertical reg and a un1 board with Codex chip.. I haven't shot it yet but I want to clean it out and lube it up first.. What do you guys think of this sealant crap? It's pretty hard, I would have to scrape it off.. The guy I bought it from said something about "it's to fix a seal they don't make anymore, you should probably leave it alone", but I didn't really buy that.. I don't like the thought of something being half-ass fixed on my gun..

Can I just remove it?? What do you guys think I should do?

Thanks, J

Directly opposite the epoxy should be a place where a seal goes.... is the indentation round? Like a place where an oring would go?

Get that s@!t off there. They still make breach o rings. You can buy a package 0f 8 from fixmyangel.com above. The un1 board does shoot pretty good, but I'am in the process of getting mine predatorized with eyes. Good luck!

Yea, there is a round indentation on the part that houses the bolt..

Cool.. I'll pick up an 8 pack then.. Anything else O-ring or seal wise that's cheap I should replace while the guns apart?? Any other advice?

That sounds like a great Idea. Make sure you lay out the parts as they come out of the marker, and be sureyou have the manual there just in case.
