View Full Version : Breech Knob "Self-Opens" during play???

Hey guys, I did a search and nothing came up, but is anyone else having this issue? After every game today, I would look down at my gun to see the breech flopped open!! Any idea's on a fix would be great, thanks.........Nate

make sure the bolt pin is in the hammer groove not behind it. its the only way the breach can actualy come open with the bolt inserted as it is 3mm longer

Sorry Ken, I didn't make it clear in my first post. As I shoot the gun during the game, the vibration cause's the breech knob rotate from the closed postion to the open position. My problem is that there isn't enough "friction" in the closed position to keep it in the closed position. Thanks again.....Nate

if you have a breach oring for a lcd,ir3 or led remove the knob, insert this oring on the ram shaft against the ram body and reinstall the knob. works like a charm

That's what I was thinking too Ken. Unfortunately I don't have an o-ring from one of those models but I think I got it figured out. Thanks again Ken......Nate

This is an ongoing problem from the G7 family. You think it would have been fixed by now. The oring trick worked on my G7.
