Ken, reball settings?

I play for team redline, the house team for the bunker in flint michigan. The bunker is the biggest reball facility in the united states and alot of us are having problems with the angel one. It seems like the balls are getting stuck just after the detents causing another ball to load half way and not fire. Any ideas?

i have to be honest. i cannot get it to shoot reball at all. ill talk to robin, max or mag from joy this week and see what they say.

My son and I were up there a week ago playing and I as experiencing the same thing. Did the 1.7 update but have not even aired up the gun since. But when I did pull the detents out they were bent forward (alot) & if you look at them under a magnafying glass they have flat spots on them. Was gonna get some new detents or maybe try to modify a set from an ego and see if the problemis still there. Mike

I was thinking if reballs are getting stuck by the detents, try taking one of the detents out, since your shooting reballs you won't have to worry about cleanning up broken paint, try it, maybe that'll work.

just an idea. If it doesn't work you've only wasted a few min of your day.

When I had the 1.4 software, I turned the eyes off and used a reloader b. It shot really well with reballs. The eyes were turned off due to the 1.4 software problem.

1.7 works beautifully, shot paint today for the first time since the install just to test fire it. It ramped, no double shooting, worked fine. Put about a hopper of paint thru it.....things are looking better

Sorry for the OT question, but, i just checked out that site for the reball facility. Just wondering how the games work (ie. when do you call hit)?

Its the honor system and of course there are people that will never admit to taking a hit. You figure out who they are pretty fast, you can yell at them that you just hit them or you can get a couple of bonus balls in. Its great practice & recreation. Great price, no paint to buy, owners are super guys and looking to make sure everyone has a good time. Facility is well laid out, umbelieveably clean,,, I cant say anything bad about the Bunker. Its a class act.........Mike

Ive never shot reballs on my A1 but i hope Ken can find the settings on how to shoot them because my team is going to a reball field in MIA FL and it would really suck to get there, pay and find out our A1s dont shoot the reball. I dont really understand why it wouldnt shoot as if it were regular paint could anyone explain this to me?

None of our angels shoot reballs (team redline and we are the house team for the worlds largest reball facility) its because the detents are so weak they dont hold the reball because of how small they are.

I've had good luck with 05 ego detents and reballs

So basically i cannot go out and practice with reballs on my A1?!?!?!?!? What is up with that............. how can that eye problem be fixed....because it makes me mad that my team is not going to be able to practice with reballs because of the eyes??? I hope that can be fixed because thats a major flaw that the A1 gun cant shoot reballs. Wait..... doesnt Joy shoot reball on thier A1s?

If someone has an old set of ego detents I'll try molding them onto angel detent bottoms. I've molded a few, went out to The Bunker to try them out only to have the same situation, but they work great with paint. Go figure.

Ken did you ever find out about how joy shoots reball on thier A1s? I would really love to know because im going to a reball field with my team and it would suck to be the only one not able to practice just because my gun wont shoot the reball. Thanks

i've been training with my a1 and reballs for weeks with no problems from the a1 just a few hopper jams with my vlocity
all my setting are the same a joys

I'm sure they're ok since Joy uses them religiously and they are all using Ones now. Anyway our team should be getting our Ones within next week (customs and all :((( ) and hopefully we'll have no trouble with reballs.
