Cant Get It Up!!!

anywho, i have an 05 speed and went out today.. and my FPS would not go above 240-250, and that was with the screw damn near all the way out on the reg on the gun. my output to the reg from the tank is anywhere between 425-510. heck, i even went up to 700 and it still didnt wanna go above 250 fps. any ideas?

im also having a problem with my 7.0 board. i put it on the 6th dot to test out psp mode. i held the trigger to turn eyes off, they turned off and it did its thing (cool). i went back in, upped my dwell 1 (to 9) and rest the board. but now i hold down the trigger to turn eyes off, and they dont turn off and the gun wants to shoot like its back in demo mode. whats up??

just incase its needed:
red light:6 dots
green light: 3 dots
orange light: 4 dots
no light: 5 dots (i cant change this 1 i guess)
and when i turn the gun on it shows 6 lights and the top 1 is off.

i thought about holding in the internal button and resetting it, just to see if that would fix it.. but i thought id hold off and c if anyone can help me here with these 2 things.

What's your LPR pressure?

Alright, try resetting your board, just to get back to square 1. It's good to start from scratch to eliminate all variables.

That is the thread I made when I was trying to learn the Version 7 software. Are you sure that you have version 7? Check it to be safe. Your lpr pressure is good. After you reset the board, put your dwell at 10. (4 blinking green)
If you are still shooting low, either your mini reg is going out, or the valve seal is wearing down. Remove the valve side end cap and check the condition of the seal. It should have a light indentatino where the valve sits on it, nothing extremely deep. If that is good, break down your mini reg, and make sure it's clean and lubed. You can make sure the bottom of the piston is in good shape, and the oring seal is decent also.

cool, ill reset it and start over when i get home, thanks. btw, with no light on, it shows 6. BUT ,i know for 100% sure this is a v7.0 board AND i had PSP shooting right before this happened. after i shot in psp, i changed the dwell to 9 from 8 and turned the gun off and back on. this is when the eyes stayed on psp wouldnt work. but from what im thinking of now (again, im at work, so i cant mess with it yet) and after readying 05 and 06 speed manuals plus ur post... is that i tried to raise my MROF while under PSP mode.. and since its to high *over 15bps i think*, it kicked it back to demo mode. so i need ot change my TR back to anything but 6.. change my MROF to 15 or under, and save that setting.. then go back under the red led and change it to PSP.

ohh.. also, how do u get all the colors flashing?? mine flashes red, hit the button, flashed orange, hit the button, flashes green, hit the button.. then the top LED is off and shows 5 lights, if i cluck it again.. it goes back to flashing red.

ok. now i have ZERO clue what i did. i actually was putting my mini-reg back together and on the gun. i turned the air on.. and BAM.. psp mode was on. WTF!!!

Version 7 isn't the only version that has the ramping mode. I found no mention of the cycling color led anywhere when I got my version 7 gun. I had to go into a 06 Speed manual to find the info, since they all came with version 7.

Version 7 does NOT have demo mode. Only PSP.

ok.. its been a good day, havent touched the gun. turn it on (it should have been still in PSP mode) and when i went to shoot a loader full.. NOTHEN... back in demo mode (where something breaks the eyes, it wont shoot).

When the gun is acting like that, turn it off, and remove the grip panel. Turn it on, let it boot up, and hit the button on the board once, which leds are lit, how many?

when it boots up, it shows 6. when i hit the internal button once, it shows 5. both green, both orange, and 1 red.

Your software version is 5. The TR 6 gives you demo mode, not ramping.

my gun has the same issue, no matter how much u back the velocity screw out the fps stays around like 200fps

check ur LPR'd pressure. i had to add 1 of those THIN shims to get mine working. before mine wouldnt go above 240.. i added 1 thin shim, and it shot up to 425 fps! but now i just adjust the mini reg and its good to go. i beleive my LPR is now set at 71.x psi.
