Bob, do you have an ETA on an update to fix ramping? My boy says it does not work in PSP mode anymore since 1.7.

No further word on anymore software updates at this time. It would be best to email WDP an explain exactly what is happening along with your settings.

I'm wondering if ramping is working for anyone after the 1.7 update?
If it is a global issue with 1.7 then I would think that WDP is already aware of it plus I'm sure they read these threads.


Anyone else's not working?

Bob, we noticed right after installing 1.7 this morning and then I took him to the field to play. We did not change any of the settings after the update but he did notice ramping was not working in PSP mode. I will check the settings when he gets home and post here. Maybe the update changed some other settings that require change in order for ramping to work in PSP?

Well, maybe so. All I’m saying is that out of the box in PSP mode ramping worked. After 1.7 it does not work in PSP mode. So maybe they changed something that requires you to change something else to “enable” ramping in PSP now. We did change other settings not related directly to ramping though. These were the settings Bob recommended in the thread regarding the firmware update. Nothing else.
Bob, we did not mess with the LPR at all.

ok i cant find the c:\Silabs\MCU\CP210x\Win2k_XP folder i installed the other files i just cant seem to find this 1 can sum1 tell me where to go to find it!!!!

ok i found the c:\Silabs\MCU\CP210x\Win2k_XP file then i connected the usb cord in the comp, turned on my 1 then plugged the usb in the 1 then nothing poped up but at the bottom right it said new files waiting to be installed i went to click it and it went away ..so then i looked for it and i couldnt find it then i took the usb out and did it again about 4 times and even uninstalled the software and re installed it and nothin happened bob or ken can u tell me what i did wrong or how to install the software?

For some reason ramping isn't working period from my angel one, regardless of whether it's in PSP or custom semi + ramping. The only explanation I would think of would be a bad board or software, but I would think if the marker still shoots semi and I can download the software the board is fine. If the software works for other people the software must be good - software is software. Now I have nooooo clue what the diagnosis could be.
I'm taking it to the shop today to get checked out - I'll everybody posted.
I'd be interested if the store owner swapped his board with mine to see if that makes a difference.

download the instructions that are posted on FMA or WDP's site which show how to install the software. if still not working feel free to call me.

yea i got all the software downloaded..i misworded that last post i meant im at the stage from where u plug the 1 in the computer and its suppose to come up w/ a popup saying found new hardware wizard but that didnt happen for my comp!!all that happend was it said new files r ready to be installed at the bottom right corner but went away!! is there anyway i can get the software done in boston?? because i just got the gun and need it teched will u or ken be there thursday?

Im getting this when I go to flash up to 1.7

ie I had no problems when flashing up to 1.5, but 1.7 will not work. Also, my gun is now stuck in program mode. Even when I remove the USB cable, and remove the battery.

ok now it wont do anything. I uninstalled EVERYTHING and the drivers wont install and the series1 flasher wont open. Along with my A1 being stuck in program mode........no matter what I do.

Do a windows restore to before you installed the sofware the first time. See if that works.

nvm, my USB cable is dead. tried one I had at work and it worked so Im good to go. Damn cables and their suicidal ways.
