Hey guys, for those of you who have already received their A1, I just wanted to know how satisfied you are with that beast.
Thanks!
edit: Sorry I didn't add a space to say that you don't have one. If anyone knows how to do that I will change it. But if you want to view the poll results anyway click on the bottom right hand corner of the poll box that says "view poll resutls".

I chose #4. I also agree 110% with Jeff. Once we figure out the software/trigger adjustments, etc. It will be a force to be reckoned with.

I think the A1 is awesome - except i'm not happy with the programming of the board. All the modes except for custom semi are permanently capped at around 15 bps. My custom semi for some reason doesn't work (it won't ramp - eyes on or off) so the only thing that gets the marker above 15 bps is demo mode which does me no good.
For a board that the company is claiming to be the most customizable board that i'll never have to upgrade with a different baord - it's lacking a loooooooot.
I'm not too concerned because of the upgrade capability with the USB port, but I'm pretty upset to pay $1200 for something that's not working the way it should. I shouldn't have to wait for a ton of software upgrades to get what i payed for - that stuff should be worked out post-release date and tested on every marker that goes out. I've already upgraded to the newest to date 1.7 firmware too.
Also - why in can't I program what ramping % I want (how many shots I want it to add!!??)
I'm kind of wishing right now that WAS made an angel one board.
Other than that it seems to be a great marker.

1. Out of the box rating I would give it about a 3.5
2. After I flashed it, and set the trigger and adjust the board. Then adjust the dwell.
3. After I did that it is amazing. Shoots like a dream. Couldn't be happier. This gun is the best gun I have ever shot. I rate it a 1 million out of 5. The A1 shoots straight and very fast, I want to see how it proforms at my tourney Sunday.

Its the best gun iv ever used of course after i adjusted all the setting, maby one day we can all have WDP custom set the setting the way we all like them to be.and also has any one notice the nob to open the chamber is loose.it wont tighten up even when the chamber is locked.its not the biggest thing but just thought id point it out.

yeah, i thought about that after I finished writing the poll. If anyone knows how I am more than willing to edit it. I think you can view the poll results anyway by clicking "view poll results" in the bottom right hand corner of the poll box.
But still, I'd like to add it in

lol...somehow missed the view results, thanks
There is a flaw with your poll, you have no way of verifying the legitimacy of the votes. I guarantee there are a few votes on here already by users who do not even own an Angel One.

Yeah, i realize that, but I can do another one if you think that would be better:
Same first 5 Q's plus 3 added, those being:
A - I don't currently own one, but intend to puchase one soon or have one on its way
B - I don't currently own one, but may purchase one later
C - I don't currently own one and do not intend on purchasing one
Any other suggestions?
I honestly do not believe the poll will accomplish anything substantial. My belief is to email WDP directly with your likes/dislikes and allow them to examine the information directly and hopefully a Q&A dialog would be started.

I just wanted to gauge the satisfaction with the marker to help me and others decide whether I would like to buy one. $1200 is a great price for a high end marker, but there's still some value in getting an overall opinion of what people who own an A1 think.

It shoots on spot, but is to loud. I also have a dm 6 which is way smother and way quieter, but i think I will most likly use my A1 as my main gun.
It's shoot spot on target.

I read up a good ammount before purchasing mine early this month, my other gun is a DM6, and i can say my A1 shoots exceptionally well. I read about the eye covers, which mine came with the newer (fixed) ones, no problems yet. I also read people could not chrono over 280, mine chronos at 290 (What my field has it at) and it will shoot 289 290 289 just about, it maintains it's velocity really well. Easy to rip once you adjust your trigger how you want it, etc. I also read of issues about people's toggling safety, that shouldn't be an issue with Version 1.8 software.
The gun realistically has no bugs left in it, and it's a great marker. I suggest buying it. I have played with it 4 times now and put 6,000 balls through it. It's too early to tell, but i'm comfortable with saying i don't think i'll have any major issues.
Edit/Delete Message
(I voted 4, it met my expectations, but didn't exceed)
However i am not happy with my purchase, i wanted Red/Black fade ;) But i was impatiant and bought what was avail from my local shop which is the black/blue fade.

VenemoussC & ocballer,
How long have you had your dm6 for? i'd like to know more as to why you prefer the A1 over it.
thanks

I purchaced the A1 am pleased with the buy. it is very acurate, but it is way to loud. I also have a DM6 which to ME is way faster, and the trigger is feels way lighter and dose not give the heavy feel of the A1.
The gun itself seams to be built better than any gun I have seen to date, but when I'm in a gun battel the Angel is not as fast as people say.
I will stay with the a1 for a wile to get used to it more, but will not be selling my Dm6 any time soon. Great gun, needs better trigger (Microswitch)?

I am getting my ONE back in the mail from FMA today. I will shoot it tonight and see if there has been any improvements made. I had it for one day and sent it off. Hopfully it can get over 12 bps now.
