ok, went out to the field today. air'd up the gun and all u hear is the "click" from the 'noid when u pull the trigger (kinda like ur in demo mode.. enough to air was making it thru to go thru the 'noid.. but it would nto shoot a paintball). im running an angel A.I.R. set between 425-500 psi, the dwell is set at 9ms. what would cause the gun to not wanna shoot?

too low of an lpr or even too low of an hpr.

so do i need to raise the PSI from the tank to the reg, the reg to the gun, or check the shims?

Check the battery while you're at it.

ok.. i took the WHOLE gun apart. cleaned everything, regreesed everything. i adjusted the ram. double checked everything that had a shim. air is set at 456psi to go into the reg.... and yes.. i even put in a new battery. still nothen. just the 'noid keep clicking away. (btw, to check to see if the gun fires, i put a paintball into the chamber and aim at my back wall.. but again, it just goes "click" then nothen till i remove the paintball.. then put it back in.. then i just get "click" again

Ok this may sound kinda of stupid, but have you checked to make sure all the connections are in their right plugs ? I once switched the Solenoid plug and something else and it did sort of the same thing.

do you have an lpr gauge? Check to see what your pressure is. If you don't, see if air is getting through your lpr. Remove the endcap and gas up the gun. You shoul dhave a fairly massive leakage of air coming out. If there is nothing, or very little, time to start setting those pressures up.

Had this happen the other day. Check all outter o-rings on your LPR. If your missing one, I bet I know where some of it is. I had some peices of an oring get stuck in the air passage way to th noid. I had to boild my body in water to break the loctite on the screws that seal the passageway.

well thats the weird thing. i aired it up a week ago, put maybe 100-120 rounds thru it, no problem. day before i went out, i put another 100 or so onto the backyard wall... no problem. i get out to the field.. air it up.. nothen.. just the "click" and the sound of VERY little air getting thru the noid. i dont have the gauge tool thing, but ill gas it up and make sure air is getting thru the LPR, but i am sure it is.. cause 1 way i used to get the air out of the gun/line was slowly remove the volumizer.

naw, when i took the whole gun apart, everything was ok, o-rings were intact, and parts were greesed/oiled up. only thing i COULDNT do is get the damn reg on the gun apart (stock). but i know air was getting thru there, so i know its not that.

Starting from scratch and cleaning, lubing, and tuning your way to the finish is never a bad bet. Congrats on the fix, my next question was gonna be "How comfortable are you with taking apart the solenoid?"

Sounds To Me Like The Shims Werent In Right On Your Lpr. If You Get One Of Them Flipped The Wrong Way Then You Wont Have Enough Pressure Going To The Noid And It Will Just Click And Sometimes Sputter. When You Put It All Back Together This Time You Probably Got The Shims Right. The Best Thing You Can Purchase For Your Marker Is The Angel Tool Kit. That Gauge Is A Life Saver.
