I want to put a DM frame/board onto my 2004 speed and have some questions. First, to get the frame to fit all I have to do is drill new screw holes, right? Also, I heard that the DM4 boards will plug directly into the angel without any mods, can anyone confirm this? Any additional help would be great. Thanks

For the frame, you will need to drill new holes, and one for the pin that sticks out near the front one.

As far as boards go, I put a DM5 frame on my 04 speed, and used a predator DM5 board. The noid will plug right in, but you need the rest of the harnesses. If I remember, you will need the Power (9v) which also connects to the trigger switch. You will need one of those too if you dont have one already. You would also need a DM eye harness. I used the TAG red laser eye harness.

Connecting it up is straight forward. The 2pin noid wires go right in to the board. There are only 2 other connectors like I said (Power/trigger and eyes if applicable)

The power is turned on and off via the membrane pad on the grip frame just like the DM.

im DM'ing angels now for $150 + the cost of the frame and shipping (unless you already have a frame, then just ship that with the gun) and the gun must be certified that it is working when it is shipped, with a signed document, its a hefty fee but it comes out looking clean. i use the stock DM5 frame holes.

yeah dont drill the frame. listen to areufakinthefunk/elliot, i did the conversion on his gun with him and it looks flawless; and everyone at the field agreed. everything matches up perfectly, and it looks as if the gun came that way. i highly reccomend the conversion, he did it to my gun and i love it.
