One concern that I have about the Angel 1 now that I have messed around a little with mine and fired shots through it is with how the detents function with the bolt. As the bolt moves forward it slams into the little rubber detents and as the bolt moves back into its default position the detents are pushed outwards and has caused my eye strap to move outwards also. This may be because I have one of a hanfull of faulty eye straps but what I am seeing is that the detents arent folding over into their divits in the walls of the gun but instead are being pushed outwards towards the eye straps and causing the straps to move out. You can try this by opening the breach and moving the bolt back and forth where it would hit the paintball. I think that if the bolts had some milling on the sides, like on the top with its angled surface, it would allow the detents to slide into their divits and not be forced outwards toward the straps which may possibly cause double feeding. Angled surfaces on the sides and the top of the bolt would definately help, and probably put less stress on the rubber detents from preventing them from warping outwards and wearing out and having the bolt slam head on with them. The problems I am experiencing are mainly due to my bad eye strap, so if any other Angel one owners can elaborate or comment on anything they have experienced concerning the eye straps then that would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone could comment on another problem I was having which was the gun was shooting 3 shots then would stop and not register a ball in the chamber, then I would turn the gun off or go into safe then it would fire 3 then stop when back in live so any help would be appreciated. Ken if you are reading this I will probably give you a call tomarrow and see if we can get this worked out, because its probably something that I am doing wrong or my tank just running out of air, but another member was having the same problems as me, so I don't know.

Same achievements we had last weekend. Groves for the bolt would help keeping the detends alive. The detends would stay at the place they have to stay if they would be "screwed in" not only "put on", if you know what i mean.

Those two adjustments would help a lot to prevent double feedings and would make the detends last longer.

can someone with some mesuring devices take a few measurements for me? get me the bolt wall thickness, how far the detents stick out when in the body, and the diameter of the detents.

Im just asking because i may be able to mill slots if i have th right endmill, and if the material allows me to do so.

with all these little fixes, how long before all the bugs are out do you figure? i was planning on getting one in sept.
