i noticed the same thing when i watched the video. I may also be too used to intellifeed but when i use my i-halo on my predatored a4 fly the rip still spins while im shooting at all times. seems a little weird to me.

I took a good look at that vid after the comments on it. The indicator light is much brighter than a stock board. My guess is an Angry or cheetah under the hood. That motor is loud to.

I have a question about that vid, if you are shooting so fast why can't you see any paint flying out!!

If you don't like what is offered, do it yourself.

you can see paint flying out when my shots slow down a little plus you can whatch the paint drop down in my loader and you can see the ripdrive spinning like crazy. you can only dry fire with the eyes off. if you know anything about angels they are capped at 15bps as soon as you shut the eyes off.
but if your still not convinced i can go outside, show you the eyes on, load the hopper and do the same exact thing as in the first video. maybe even a little faster now that my fingers are warmed up!
now lets do the math.... thats 200 rounds in 8 seconds.... im not sure but i think thats 25bps. i personally havent seen an A1 hit that mark yet. but im sure it will happen soon.

it was 180 and it did get emptied and it was a consistant 22bps with some higher burst's at around 26bps. goldwave rules. and how can you tell the bps by listening? not talking trash here i just want to know what i have to do to train my ear to do that. a calculated guess would be to time the string and do the math.
im not trying to set any records here. i was just not that impressed when i viewed most of those videos. and i shot the A1 on saturday and i really wasnt that impressed with it either. im not saying its not a great marker, im just saying that i wouldnt go out and sell even my 05 speed to buy one..... yet!

I just bought an A1 last week and used it this weekend and couldn't get the thing to ramp with eyes on or off, no matter what the mode/settings. Yes - I have the 1.7 firmware.
I figure there's something wrong with mine but seeing the two videos of other people's A1s are making me nervous - neither of the videos are ramping either - looks like semi auto to me!!
WDP better be overnighting me a replacement if the tech finds that I have a bad marker or they better be giving me my money back if none of them work (I doubt the latter is the case/hope its not the case!).

If you're experienced it's pretty easy to approximate BPS by the listening to the rate of fire. You just develop an ear for it.

Sorry for bad quality, hard to film by yourself, §§§§ty digicam, you can hear it though.
this is the 4th hopper ever put through this gun. its kinda fast i guess. one good thing though is that it passed all the tests i do to check for bounce when i ref, i would have passed it for bounce.

Yep - capped at about 15 BPS. The only things that aren't are the custom modes (big fault on the manufacturer in my opinion), and my ramping in custom modes doesn't seem to be working.
I just checked it out with Vballs in my apartment - shot 30 balls at a rate higher than the kick in BPS and counted how many balls came out - 30.

inexx are u using firefox? I always use firefox, I tried to play it and putfile tried to open it in windows media player so it didnt work but then I pasted the link into internet explorer and it played through quicktime nd worked fine

it is in quicktime format, but for some reason all the browsers besides IE dont open it with quicktime, btw i thought you were describing muggy's video, harolds video doesnt work, in Windows media player on the screen it says "this video has been removed b/c it is inappropriate of it just sucked"

The manufacturer custom ramp modes are uncapped and shoot as fast as your hopper feeds. I used semi+sr and had my A1 pact timered in the high 20's using a fairly dead cheetah boarded halo, i then preceeded to chop the last ball as it only kind of feebly fell in lol.

Whats your load speed and MROF Eyes on set at? It sounds like you are in the high teens to maybe 20 which a vlocity is only good for about 22-23 so you're close to maxx'ing it. Also make sure you put your force on 8 if you want to get the best speed results.

That gun should be shooting much faster than it is. My vlocity will feed my G7 at 26 bps and then I put it on my A1 and the gun shoots about 15 to 17 bps. I'm still wating to see an A1 shoot over 20 BPS..

Are you sure your velocity will feed to 26 consistently? Thats amazing if it does as the Vlocity only feeds a little less than 25 on gun... As for past 20 BPS like i said with my velocity i hit 23 consistently, with my cheetah halo i hit 28 consistently the gun will shoot it if your settings are right, sounds like ya'll are most likely just using bad batteries in your hopper and blame it on the gun.

No, I know for a fact that they don't shoot consistently at 26 BPS. Those are just spikes that my G7 picks up. That is not my point here. I was merely pointing out that the A1 in that video is shooting slow. My A1 does the same thing. I was only trying to show that when I shoot my G7 with my vlocity hopper, the gun is blazing fast but my A1 with the same hopper(or any hopper) is very slow. Fresh batteries are used in my hoppers. Like I said, I still want to see an A1 shoot fast.

Check your MROF, loader speed (this makes a huge difference in max BPS so set it to 16), and turn up force all the way on the VL, also with soft ramp it doesnt ramp up to a set BPS instead it adds shots like demo mode so if your fingers are inconsistent it wont ramp up to full speed.

I adjusted my settings and made the trigger as lite as possible and mine shoots every bit as fast as that video. Try adjusting your trigger and barrow another hopper before you shell out some more cash. Good luck.

ok with mine I was running my start delay at 5 Kick in at 5 and drop out at 4. I am also running the Joy settings and 1.9 software. Don't know if any of that will help.

belive it or not I have never used a vlocity yet. I just don't like the looks of it.

As far as I know that is all that changed with the 1.9 software but I am the kind of guy that would download the new software even if all they say it did was fix a bug that I never had just because you never know what might have been changed that they forgot to tell us about.

Make sure your hopper can feed that fast and that your MROF eyes on is set to unlimited, on custom semi+softramp the only limiting factor is your hopper and how fast your fingers are if you have the rage/joy settings.

harold 1.9 doesnt make a difference. 1.9 was not even an official release by wdp. it was an mt release. the only difference between 1.8 and 1.9 is that the factory settings on 1.9 are the joy/rage ones...
