G7 board resetting??

I just got a brand new G7 Fly and it shoots fine and the board functions normally except for one thing. Whenever I shut off my gun after changing my settings they all go back to factory settings when I turn it back on. Even the cycle counter resets. Is the board broken or is there something I'm not doing on my gun?
