I turn on my G7 Fly and the opto board lights up but displays nothing, the gun worked ok even though I coudnt read what was on the board.

This morning I turned in on to make pre checks befor going out to play and the opto board lit up and then just starts flashing, eyes dont light up and gun will not fire.

The marker is still under warrenty any chance of a self fix or must I send it in to a MT

Try recharging the battery. I know when its not charged the screen lights up then theres nothing.

yes that was the problem with the flashing, lol.

I had pluged the charge into my wifes car lighter but I diodnt relize the car had to be running for the lighter to be active, hence the battery compleatly discharged, and caused the flashing.

But the screen is still compleatly blank just lights up sooo I guess Mr.Frazier will have the solution to that problem I hope

thanks for the batt.advice

If you are positive the battery is charged and the screen is seated correctly then you will need to send the item in to be tested.
