Just wondering has anybody ever aired up their gun and it was leaking outa that lil vent hole on the evolve vollumizer? it did today at my field and i was wtf?! then i grabed some Dow 33 grease and when i took off the volly i saw the o-ring and there was like no grease on it.( before i put grease on it) when it was leaking out i guess the grease went away:notsure: well i drenched the o-ring with grease and the leak went away:bouncer:
Make sure that o-ring is greased people!:patriot:(make sure its a heavy/thick grease(dow 33 is wut i use)

That is some great advice. Yup, when I was messing with the Evolve kit I had the same thing happen and did what you did to solve the problem.

thanks:embarasse
The longer you allow the evolve to leak the more grease you will lose. The trick is to shoot the marker as soon as you air it up. The initial leak is quite common.

BoB/trigga iv had to keep regreasing and airing to see if the leak will seat but it takes me about 15 of keep doin it to get it to seat. Really annoying..I put alot of grease on it and even fired it right after i aired it up.. But when it seats and no leaks any where(roughly 15 mins of tweaking) the gun rips amazingly.. any ideas?( also my cup seal looks fine..no wear)

small vent holeOK, I remember some people having the exact same issue. They tried changing the tiny o-ring, the greased it, and it still leaked. What the outcome was (and you might be able to find posts here on AOG in reference to it) that some of the Evolve stems were too short. Evolve replaced them and the problem was solved.
If you can get a good measurement of the valve stem length, maybe Bob or Ken can measure the length of the kits they may have and see if you happen to have the short/defective stem?

Evolve got back to me again and asks me did i contact bob wiht his return policies. I told him that they should replace the rod not bob. Its not BoB's fault they made a rod too short. lol
I guess it is time to discontinue their product. Shoot me an email with your address and I will pull one from a new kit.

just a quick ? are you using the adjuster screw on the volly? i have seen alot of people leave them out as to lighten the valve sping as much as possible. but if its not in and adjusted properly it does tend to leak out of that bleeder hole.
why? what happned wiht you and evolve?
They warranty their product, they do not provide me with spares/warranty parts but refer you to me when there is a problem. I am just trying to clarify how their warranty actually works now.

Yea thats kinda messed up. I made him send me a new one for 1. because its not your fault they made the rod too short. and 2 i didnt want to bother u and make u take a new rod from a new kit.. then you wouldnt be able to sell that kit.
