2k LCD not charging...

Hi, I recently bought a used 2k Angel LCD. The owner (lumpus, someone from this board) said it worked fine before he shipped it, but when I go to charge it, it shows the "safe" screen for a second, then the entire lcd lights up, then goes blank. It repeats this and the game time vibrator sometimes goes off. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is? Thanks for any assitance.

A couple things...

When you plug in your charger it should say "PWRON" meaning it wants you to turn the switch on on your gun. If you're using your car to charge it you may have to actually turn the car on (have the car running). I found that just turning the key so the power comes on doesn't push out enough juice for the charger to charge the battery. Try that and see if you have the same problem.

Also make sure that it is an actual angel charger that you are using. Sometimes if it isn't it won't put out enough juice or too much and can cause the board to fry.
