Hello ken, i was wondering if you knew a site that has an animation (or a precise explanation ) of an angels internals at work???

If you do, i would appreciate it if you could give me the link.

Many thanks.

thanks alot, its a really nice animation.

dunno if i'm the only one not knowing this, but how does the lpr mod on an angel affect only the bolts cycling pressure and not the amount of air that comes out of the valve???

thanks.

teh air supply the ram gets is lower than teh pressure teh valve gets, 85 psi on an lcd, but this is adjusted via shims inside teh lpr... the lpr is a low presure regulator, it takes incoming gas and regulates it down to a lower pressure.

if you used the normal operating pressure through the ram, not only would it explode, but your gun would break apart internally, teh lpr mod only changes teh pressure which the bolt/ ram move

hope this helps

If I put a screw in on an on/off, and let the regulator reg to pressuer and rean that thru my angel, would any damage result?

Guys i got a question it seem like you all know what you are talking about when it comes to angels. so my question is what is envolved in maintaining the angel? How hard is it to clean it after a day of playing? I want to get an angel really bad but dont have the money right now so i wanna know what im getting into. Thanks

There is nothing to worry about when it comes to maintaining an Angel. When you are done for the day just wipe it down. Needs oil every now and then. Should be serviced and tuned by a Certified Tech whenever you get the chance or feel like something is either about to or currently going wrong. Unless you have been messing with them for years, it is better to just leave it in the hands of a Tech who knows what they are doing.

Very little to do as stated above.
2 drops of oil in the ASA and 1 in the exhaust port around every 8,000 shots. Other than that I like to get mine tuned by a Tech once a year or twice if I'm feeling frisky.

For some reason, the link I had up earlier in the thread did not work. So here is the new link I have made.
