Hey guys! I just came back from a championship today and my LCD wasn't working in the last 2 games, so I used an IR3 (i guess...) and with that trigger i was able to shoot something like 14 bps, and with my LCD only about 9. The trigger really feels diferent from one to the other, so my question is... Does anyone know if i'm able to get a trigger like that on my LCD ? And how? beause I changed the spring, took off the spring, made the trigger as short as possible, not as short, and all kinds of variations, but I still can't get that feeling...

I would imagine it's because the IR3 has a TR setting which is an electronic bounce and lets you get a higher ROF.

That or your MROF (Max Rate of Fire) setting on your board is set too low. Check out a manual for LCD's at http://www.wdp.tv to learn how to change your settings. My 2000 LCD (w/IR3 board) shoots ~14 bps right now.

My MROF is set at 20... what I meant was the feel of the trigger... it is TOO diferent, I can't tell exactally what is the diference but hwen I shot that IR3 it sure was really differtent, and the owner of the gun told me he has just made few adjustments himself...

By the way, what is TR settings?

Tks

I don't believe (actually, I'm quite certain) my board has the TR setting. It is a mem 3 board with a micro switch (not opto switch). I believe the bounce settings came with the upper mem boards with the opto switch. Which, going back to the original post, could be why the triggers felt differently. I believe your LCD has a micro switch while the gun you were shooting had an opto switch. Just my guess.

ahh. you are correct sir, my friends gun had mem6 programming and I'm not sure about the optoswitch but now that I think about it I can't ever remember hearing that distinctive click of a microswitch. My LCD now has a Predator board so I can achieve a very high ROF, but before that with the stock LCD board I was usually pulling off around 14-15 bps.... maybe you just need to practice your trigger-walking more

I think this could be the reason...

Anyway, i think it's time for me to change my gun... hehehe, i think i'll go with the new Angel ONE !!!

Tks for the help !
