Hi, I'm having some trouble with my angel 05 speed and need some help. I was using a hp tank for my angel for few months (as a noob) and it was working, but one day it just stoped working, so i decided to use a lp tank but it still didn't work and i disassembled the marker and looked for any broken parts, but it still did not work. I think there is a problem with the air flow because the hammer goes out a little (about an 1/6 of an inch) and stops and makes this weak plump noise and will not shoot the paint. If anyone knows how to solve this problem please tell me. (sorry I'm still a noob)
Considering that it should cycle even with no oil at all, my guess is that the HP air caused you some damage. Maybe someone who's a real expert can talk you through it, but it's likely you'll need to take it in or send it in for service.

Noid gasket is backwards/upside down. Happened to my buddies today. Either that, or an air passage way is blocked. Either way, I can fix it if you cant get it to work. Just cover cost of shipping.

Highly doubtful that HP air damaged the gun unless the marker was being used outside of it's specifications (over 300 fps) for long amounts of play.
This can cause unnesassary and exessive(can't spell i know) wear and tear on primary parts.
Your LPR send the required air to the ram to make the cycle.
If the ram won't move or only moves slightly, LPR could be out of adjustment or it may be the ram itself or in the worst case it's noid/gasket related.
Very possible some small debris got cought in the small noid air porting.

Gasket isnt a worst case. The noid itself would be worst case. Check to see if theres anything blocking the air ways to the noid. Those screws are green loctited in. So you might have to boil the part of your gun in water for it to get hot enough to break the loctite.

Also, put it in safety mode and fire without air. If you can hear the solenoid click on a trigger pull it is somewhat a good sign. I have heard many noids do get damaged by using HP. Other than that the other guys that posted had good things to check for to.
Good luck!

Regardless of the air source you put on it (hp/lp) your LPR pressure would be the same..meaning you CAN't simply damage the noid from screwing on an HP tank...the gun might shoot hot from high IN-LINE pressure being to high but your LPR pressure will not go over what it was with an LP tank.
You can test this buy screwing your angel gauge tool into the lpR then screwing all different pressure tanks onto the gun...even try an adjustable output one and start at under 200 psi then crank it way open to 800...your LPR gauge will not move.
The only way to damage the noid with high pressure air would be to take out your LPR...adjust it to shoot over the specified PSI (90-100 older/ 65 newer) then put it back in and use it which would be misuse of the LPR.
EDIT: I would also not recommend boiling your gun in water...although this may release the green loctice at a certain temperature with hot water you run the risk of damaging certain electrical components unless extreme care is taken. Use a lighter before boiling it if you are goin to take those screws out. It is much more practical, faster, easier,
Only other way to damage it is if you had one of those adjustable LPR evolve kits and turned it up to high with the air on.

I agree. Generally, it's bad to boil your marker in water...
