ok so I'm cleaning my 2K2 LCD yesterday after playing and I notice that the small black oring that is around the little hole in the bottom of the rotobreach has gone missing somehow. my question is what does it do, where can I get another one, and do I really need it for anything. Thanks Joey

It is useful, it is called the breech oring, it just seals the space between the roto breech and the body to avoid wasted air. I would replace it as I have also HEARD that it causes chops to become more frequent somehow, i have not experienced this though. The MT's sell a dozen of them or so for like $6.

Hope this helps!

hmm.. I'm not sure how long it's been gone but I have noticed more chops lately that I had just attributed to low-quality paint. So how do you get ahold of the MT's to buy them? thanks, joey

OK I purchased that set of replacement orings so the problem should be fixed in a couple days, but can anyone tell me what this small oring would have to do with an increase in chopped balls? Just seems strange to me. Also, the set I bought includes pretty much all of the orings located in the angel, would it be useful for me to go ahead and change out all of them or would it be more trouble than it's worth. Thanks, Joey

MT's can you help me out with this??? I just can't seem to figure out why that oring would cause an increase in chopped balls

well i am no MT but i have heard the same thing and i was told that without the oring excess gas can be blown back upward through the feedneck. if you arent using a force fed hopper it can actually push the ball up slightly to somewhat delay it and cause chops. with gas loss also comes inconsistencies in fps. that is just what ive been told...

seems to make sense, hopefully that will all be fixed soon. Thanks, Joey
