Ok, I posted in a different forum realizing it was the wrong forum. I've looked through some of the "Helpful links" links and still have some questions. Although I used to have an old Angel, I've obviously missed a lot since I owned it.
1.) What is "Flashing the board" and what are the benefits?
2.) The speed 05 comes with eyes correct? If so, are they fine or is it recommended to get them upgraded to the G7 eyes?
3.) What's the benefits of the Tadao(spelling?) board?
4.) Probably a dumb question, but can you gas the speed 05 up while it's either turned on or off? (Only reason I ask is a buddy of mine said it should be turned off when you gas it up...just want to check)
5.) How do I tell what version of software it's running?
That's all I can think of right now but I'm sure I'll have more questions. thanks in advance.

1. Flashing the board means taking your board to a tech to get updated software on your board like ramping or some bug fixed
2. The eyes are fine no need to upgrade to lazer eyes unless you want to.
3. Tadao(sp) has all the ramping modes you would ever need and it gives you the microswitch feel.
4. Doesnt matter
5. Open the grips hit the programing button once you do that count the l.e.d's and you will find out what software you have.

Thank you for the quick replay. I thought of another question. As i was reading a few topics here and there I noticed a few people mentioning that their ram was moving. is this a common occurance? If so, what are the proper adjustments used to take care of it?

The best way to adjust your ram in your Speed 05 can be found in this post: http://www.angel-owners.com/showpost.php?p=301418&postcount=1

i have an 05 speed also and i wouldnt change a thing. this gun rips stock. the only thing i didnt like was the feedneck, my halo had a hard time going in and coming out. i went with a check it feedneck and im happy. you can get a tadao board but you probably wont use the other modes anyways so i would stick with the stock until it stops doing what you want it to, in other words if it aint broke dont fix it. good luck and welcome to the family.

I definatly hear ya on the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" part. I don't like changing anything if it works the way it is. I'm just stoked to have an Angel again and hope this thing is as nasty as i've heard.
Feels good to be home :)

i like it, its better than the dark lcd i had. its faster and lighter and i like not having to charge the battery. i had my old gun die on me in a game and i was done for the day, now i just swap with another 9 volt. just try it and see what ya like. i do reccomend changing the feedneck.
