First off what iss the diff between a G7 and the G7 fly? Is it just milling? Also is a G7 cobra just fancy milling or new internals?

Thanks total noob looking to get an angel :drink:

A few different things. Yes the milling is obvious. Second they use different barrel threads. Different trigger setup. And i’m pretty sure all of the fly’s have the high flow valve where the G7's that are a little older did not. Weight is also pretty noticeable.

The cobra G7 is a like a stock G7 with different milling and it has it's own software version with a couple of extra firing modes.

The G7 Fly is a slightly improved G7...see above post.

Thanks. So, the fly is a better choice?

Well the Fly is slightly "better" I suppose. But as for the "better choice"...that would depend on cost. IF you could buy a G7 for $10 as versus $800 for a Fly....then I would say the G7 is a better choice.

If you find a cobra get cause they dont make any cobras any more. but go buy price. And just wait the prices will go down. I got my G7 FLY and a 88cu 5000psi evil scion all for $800.00 on ebay cause i held off instead of spending $900 for a fly from any other online store.

Performance wise is the cobra up there with the Fly? Someone mentioned that the fly has a "high flow valve" and is lighter.

Also will the scion tank work okay even if the field only fills to 4500?

1. The Cobra is an aftermarket G7 ..it predates the G7 Fly. The Fly will likely have the new valve and is lighter.

2. Tank pressures are their MAX pressures. There is no harm filling it less. Think about it...as you use it the PSI goes down anyways.

I see thanks. I found a G7 Fly in blue, but now it's gone. :pat: There also is a blue cobra for sale, but I want a blue fly. I can't find one anywhere. The black/blue fade is cool, but I really want a blue polish w/ either frame. I like the new Angel One, however I would like to wait until some reviews are in before i would invest in a marker.

a big dif between the regular g7/cobra g7 and the g7 fly is the the fly breach nob lever 'clicks' in the closed position ... a big plus for front players which is what the fly was designed for
