Ice-Fade fly's......how many were made?

I bought mine in May; counting mine I have only seen 9 of them. I asked just about every one and they only come up with 15 for an answer. This might be able to help you to figure out how rare they are. When I went to see my Angel Master Tec he asked me if I custom anodized it. When I told him no he replied “I have never see that color on a Angel Fly”. I relies that I did not give you an answer but I hope it helps you find the true answer.

I you find a correct number please let me know. I have been interested in this for some time now

I have one as well. As far as I know, only 17 were made. This is straight from the horses mouth. But who knows how reliable that is :)

Not sure how many were made, but I've seen 4 in Australia... I got one, the guy I bought it from got one, saw another at our last 7 man and there's still one left where I got mine.

Shades was saying that if you want the ICE fade you can have it done its not hard...he said he would get it done for you by sending to WDP's anodizers.

There are many other places as well that you can get it done at.

www.fireballmountain.com is a good place to get ano they to brilliant work.

Just cuz you didn't get one of the original ICE-fades doesnt mean you can't have one...doesnt matter how rare they are...you can still get one...even if there only was 1 ever made anodizers can copy it exactly.

You have to understand how the G7 Fly etc have gone thought the anodisers WDP use to understand the rarity of a particular colour. We have had some very LTD Angels go through the anodisers plus one of a kind too. The rarity of a colour will not affect the resale price but I really do hope you like the marker you have, it’s a great shade and not that many about. But you cannot put a defiant number on it, lets just say not many.

The only way for we could find out without being told exact numbers is to keep looking for other owners for the blue/blue ice fade g7 fly.

From these post we can account for 9 total.

I think it's a good idea, my serial breech number is [5852].

If you own a Ice-blue fade G7 Fly post your serial breech number that way we can see if there is a pattern. Like between k0z0oo1 and my number is 8, so there might be 8 or more. If owners keep posting there serial # we might get a definite number. I’m not interested in a resale value I just like the color and I think that this is interesting.

But what if not everyone who owns an Ice-Fade belongs to AOG ? how will you track it down then ?

I for one would just like to know just how many there are... and to see where they fall in the serial numbers.

Though possible... I find it hard to believe that someone who would buy a G7 fly would not be a member of AOG or at least know someone who is a member. That being said everyone should be able to at least keep track of how many were produced... if not know who ownes them.

I will continue to update the list with each owner listed in marker serial # order.

Maybe we can get to the bottom of this.

Should we leave it at that, or should be keep pursuing till we find out who all the owners are?I think we should keep looking it would be neat to know who all owns them.

Being said there were only 20 of them made it should not be too difficult. And it will also prove to be an interesting situation with the serial numbers too...
