G7 eye not functioning correctly

Just bought a G7 Fly, The eyes do not function as intended. The eye has power to it and is lighted. The eye doesn't pass the ball drop test. The gun functions with the eyes turned off. I have done everything to trouble shoot it in the manual with no luck.
