Hello,

I recently picked up an 02 angel lcd. I got it off of ebay it came predatored with break beam lazer eyes. Really nice gun, I got a great deal on it or so I thought. After I got it I got looking at it. It appeared to be in great shape, turned it on the board and eyes seemed to be working great so I opened the breech and to my dismay there was no bolt. I searched all through the box and turned up empty. So I tried contacting the seller after 3 days with no reply's I looked around online for a replacement. I found a cobra bolt over on cobra paintball they were having a big closeout sale I got it for like 7 bucks. http://cobrapaintball.com/Shop/catalog-product41 The site said it would work with the LCD, iR3, A4, Speed, Fly, Speed 05. UPS brought my new bolt today and i slid it in the gun everything seemed to line up flush and when I went to close the breech it won't close. It seems to me that the bolt pin is sitting just a tad further back the the slot in the ram. I mean we are talking like not even a millimeter. I tried pushing the ram back a little further but it won't budge. I am not sure what to do next. So I was hoping someone would have another suggestion for me.

Thanks,
Zack

you need to adjust ram stroke,
http://angelowners.com/showthread.php?t=4846

Give that a read and if you have any more problems give the manual a looking over, if you don't have one there should be one posted on here. basically you will need to take off the back plate but be careful of a small spring which may jump off on you under the backplate. Then you will need to turn the ram out a tad until the bolt clicks correctly. Just give that thread a read and the lcd manual and you should be ready to roll. You can't just simply push it its threaded in from the back of the gun.

Thanks that definatly sounds like my problem, I'll give it a try later today and let you know how I make out. Another problem is I don't have an angel tool kit. Do I absolutely need it?

Not necesarily, all it is is 2 holes on the back of the ram that allow you to turn it so if you go down to the hardware store and pick up some snapring plyers you should be able to turn it. Now on the back of the ram there is a small screw which just takes an allen wrench, not sure which size, but that may also need to be adjusted. That's also in the manual and possibly in the technical section link I posted. First adjust the ram with snap ring plyers I guess and then gas up the marker and fire some shots and see if its cycles correctly. If so then I would probably leave the snapring alone and be done with it. It's all pretty easy so don't be worried, just read the tech section and the lcd manual and you are good to go .

I got the bolt in there now, but I think I have a dead noid, so one of the master tech's are going to have to get my baby for some TLC, who is the best to send it to, I am in PA.

Hmm, all the master techs are good, I would check out angelforce.tv and go to stores, it will tell you where they arel located and just pic whichever is closest to you. Also while you are sending in your gun I would try and order an angel toolkit also. Best of luck

Don't know if they'll mess with it at all with the Pred board in it.
