I heard that WDP polled 90 players & only 45 perfered the 45 frame.

I am agreeing with the 90 crowd. It took e a long time to appreciate the 90 frame but for the past many years I have luved it. It would be hard to go to something else.

Why couldn't they just sell both the 90 and the 45 together and up the price just a tad...people will still buy it just because it is the lightest gun

yeah like what they did with G7's...for a while they would ship it with BOTH frames so you could choose... ARE YOU LISTENING WDP ? BOTH FRAMES ?!?!??!

That's right WDP...both frames. I want a 90.
I figured I'd throw in my 2 cents. Hopefully they will see enough of a demand to offer them.

I can't afford the new "One", but I'm agreeing with the masses that say
"90 Frames are better".
^ for a 90 framed Angel One

what we should all do is make our own 90* frame for the angel one and make money. (or angelforce or other mt's can)

then it would become an aftermarket part...which means we have to BUY it...
shouldn't have to....should have a choice...

I am currently out of the sport, but looking to get back in. I am also saving up. I am looking at possibly getting one of these, and I would love to get a 90. Are they going to come out with a 90 frame for them? I have always been an angel guy, and I loved the 90* frames when they came out.

have you actually read this thread?

I hate to break it to you guys....but WDP is not making a 90 frame. read this post by ken crane http://angel-owners.com/showthread.php?p=516725#post516725
Over 80% of sale last year were 45's. I myself was a firm believer in the 90....until I held a arsenal g7 with a 45 and I couldnt deny any longer that the 45 is more comfortable. Sorry

From reading it earlier I made a guess that they aren't going to be making one. But I still can't see why they wouldn't make one as an option or something.
Sorry, I have been away from paintball for a while now, haven't been on AOG in a while either. I have not really been following this gun at all.
EDIT: Nevermind, I read what spikediesel just posted. This makes me a little sad, but I understand why.
I have a 90 and a 45 for my G7. Once I put the 45 on the marker, there was no going back.
Yes the 90 works well, but the 45 just plain rocks.

if i recall correctly wasnt the 90 advertised to be more comfortable for your arms?
It is if you hold your marker up high.

It is if you hold your marker up high.Agreed. I found the 90 to be quite comfy but when I got used to the 45, there was no going back.

My first 4 Angels were 45....the next 4 were 90s. I loved when they went 90. I don't want to go back but I guess if I want to get the new one....

i mean we could wait for the 90's to be made. because in a thread i found in here somewhere, ken crane said that there would only be 45's FOR NOW. which most likely means they are going to make 90s for them. why would WDP give up their signature style that sets them apart.

because...as stated earlier in this thread: Over 80% of sale last year were 45's
WDP is a business

and just as ken said because the size of the marker it self; the 90 would feel very different once you see and hold the frame is you should relize why it would be diffcult to hold a 90

indeed indeed, i guess im just kinda sad they are not making them

If you want the smallest, lightest, best angel to come yet, then you will just have to take the 45.
Yes, it is dissapointing, but after realizing how awkward it would feel on that gun and such, I completely understand why they aren't going to have a 90.

id still like to see a 90 come out just to keep then different from all other markers

It is still different from other markers. The frame isn't really what sets it apart from other markers. There are other markers that use a 90* frame.

Alien uses a 90 deg. frame.

If WDP does do it my guess is that it will take more than a little time. First is the grip, new circuit board, trigger and then getting the ASA right on the butt.
I held the ONE already and I think that everything is pretty tight as it is using the 45, it would really feel wierd with a 90. Your two hands would almost be touching each other. Put a 1 dollar bill on the table. Now make 2 fists like your holding a 90 and lay on top of the bill. See what I mean!

The ONE will be my first 45 on an Angel. I've owned a few other guns though from a Tippman 98 to an Evil Omen and all have had 45's. I suppose I'll just have to get used to it again!
I definitely wouldn't diss the ONE because it only had a 45 though.

when i got my g7 i had a 90 on it and i played with it for a while but then i decided to see how i would feel with a 45 and ive never gone back. It just feels right. the 90 was an uncomfterble position.
