Hello All…
I currently own a Tippmann A5 w/Egrip and Flatline, and 20once co2. I’ve recently got into this sport almost a year ago …and I absolutely love it. I’m seriously thinking about purchasing an Angel G7 Fly some time soon. I have a few questions before I make a big purchase. I know it’s a preference thing…but I just wanted to know…In your own opinion…which would you recommend 45 or 90 degree frame? What upgrades do you recommend? (Electronic Hopper, barrel, Nitgen Tank, etc.) I’m not planning to play in tournaments…it’s just for fun at the paintball fields.
All your suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I just purchased a G7 Fly myself, you are most def. going to need a compressed air tank (LP although HP works on some angels). I have heard that the stock barrel is good for it being stock, but if you want a new barrel look into Dye's ultralite barrels. You should also look into a Halo B, Empire B2, or a Velocity hopper to keep up with the high ROF of the marker.

I like using a 45 better than the 90 my self. Are you planning on playing speedball, woodsball or both? For a hopper I use a Halo B with out rip drive, I have never had any problems with it. For a compressed air tank any thing carbon fiber that’s LP. For a barrel you’re spoiled for options really. Depending on what you’re playing a barrel kit is a great investment. Personally I like the Freak and the stiffi kits. But dye makes an excellent barrel but they only come in dust. The stock barrrel works great also. But its all your preference!
I use the G7 Fly with a Halo B, smartparts s-rail and on/off, 68 cu 4500 carbon fiber tank. Really the only heavy item on this set up is the halo because of the 6 AA batteries.

Also the stock feedneck works great, I have never replaced it and I never will. Some hoppers need a little oil around the neck or they push the rubber in the feedneck down. Or you can also sand it.

In regards the 90/45 debate. You should hold both on see for yourself. I prefer a 90 myself.
Required upgrades/accessories:
-electronic hopper...I like the Halo but you could just as well go Reloader or VLocity
-nitrogen tank...I like the Crossfire buit most are pretty good....as for size....personal preference
OPTIONAL upgrades:
-barrel system....all the ones available are quite good...CP, Stiffi, Orbium
-new locking feedneck....I use the stock...with a bit of grease...no problem

-.45 frame (personal preference)
- Check-it Low-rise Feedneck or a CCM No-rise/pro
- Barrel: Custom Products 3 back Kit or Dye Ultralite (.689 & .693)
- Tank: Crossfire 68/4500 LP or 45/45 whatever you prefer
- ASA: CP 2K5 Direct Mount ASA w/ easy bleed or Eclipse on/off with micro rail
- Hopper: VLocity
- Board: You will probably be satisfied with the stock board, but if you want more I would go with the AngelForce FBS Tadao Board.
-Trigger: Stock Trigger is exceptional, but I am eventually going to get the Violent Products Scythe Trigger.

My suggestions:
Hopper: Halo B w/ rip drive, Empire reloader B, Vlocity
Tank(HAS to be compressed air aka nitrogen tank): 45 ci/4500 psi or 68 ci/4500 psi Crossfire Low pressure tank. Make sure you know the tank you buy is low pressure it is VERY important.
ASA(the thing the tank attatches to): 2k5 CP on/off direct mount
Feedneck: Definitely a CCM no-rise feedneck.
As for the 45 or 90, i rock a 45 but the 90's arent bad, u may just wanna try both of them out before hand

first thing you need to do is get a new feed neck if you are getting a halo CP hybrid make good necks.
Get a Cross Fire Tank 68/4500 pre set lp
new barrel I use the Freak with Stainless steal inserts(if you ever get another gun with diffrent threading all you will need to do is buy another back)
after buying all this the rest is personal choices aftermarket board etc,the G7 Fly is a pretty good gun out of the box

I came from a tippmann A5 too. And let me tell you your gonna love this thing. You know how the A5 is not very consitant when your tank gets low then you gotta manualy turn the cyclone feed say good by. My fly shoots a constant 25bps on semi-auto with out any drop. You need for sure a LOW PRESSURE nitro tank i use a 88cu 5000psi evil scion and get about 2500 shots out of it. And a good hopper i have a halo b/rip drive. But if your going to get one wait cause the new ANGEL ONE is coming out next week so G7 FLY prices should drop afer that. But use ebay its a great resource.
