I am new to paintball. I played once became addicted and had to have an Angel. I got a 2k1 LCD and purchased an ANS 68/4500 tank for it. I had the tank filled the first time and fired it a few times. I turned off the ASA and walked away and returned because I thought I heard it leaking. I turned the ASA back on to check for leaks and then the burst disc errupted. The vendor that I purchased the tank from sent me a new burst disc and reg set. I replaced the two and had the tank filled again. The first two shots seemed a little week but promising and then it started dropping off. The marker acts like it is starving for air. Now I can't get it to fire a ball out the barrell. I have checked the velocity setting on the minireg but it didn't make a difference.

has anyone ran into this. Being new I probably shouldn't have started with an Angel but it was a must. Go ahead and flame me if my question is retarded, but I figured this would be the forum where someone may have had this happen to them.

Sounds like a problem with the tank not the gun. Do you have any idea what the tanks output pressure is? If you could use someone elses tanks to test it, try that just to make sure its not the gun. If it still happens with a different tank then it could be a dewl problem, or a blocked airway or something along that line.

pbimpulsepa,

Thanks for the response, I am trying to get another tank to test it, but most of the people I know run low pressure or CO2. I was thinking about taking the minireg apart tonight to clean it and see if it is causing any issues, but I think it will not be the source of this problem. Unfortunately the vendor I bought the tank from is suddenly ignoring me once I started talking about sending the tank back, so I will see what happens.

ok, my new tank is on it's way. I also bought a minireg rebuild kit. i searched the site and haven't seen anything posted as far as lubrication when rebuilding the minireg. I purchased Angel force oil and grease but not sure on what exactly needs to be greased or oiled. Any help would be appreciated. If none if this fixes it, I will have to purchase the tool kit and start looking at the LPR pressure.

Thanks,
Josh
