View Full Version : Rechargable's
Ok. I got a question. I just bought some energizer AA rechargable batteries. They are 2500mah. Will these be ok?
I turned my Halo B hopper on and the light was green when I turned it on, then it started flashing red. Is this normal? (There was no paint in it).

I use the same batteries and dont have a problem.
Ok. Excellent. I got one question about the halo loader. Do I have to program a cycle speed or will it pump out 22 a sec automatically? Also, my light was flashing red, that normal? (there was no paint in the hopper).

Red means low battery.
Ok. Now as far as cycling. It will cycle 22bps if I fire that fast correct? Or do I need to take the board out or anything?

If you're lucky. I don't see why you'd need to remove the board.

actually I have yet to see one maintain full auto @ 22 bps with the loader completely full with the exception of aftermarket board and intellifeeded ones.
A stock halo should be able to maintain at least strings of 5-10 balls(or more) @ 22 bps but if it doesn't your eyes will kick in and make the gun hesitate to keep from chopping. If you don't have eyes don't try it you will have a paint blender in your hands.
I think they say 22 BPS to build hype and make a selling point on the loader but it is in fact a great one.

This has some good info in it. True, that it is only measuring loader drop rates, but if you are into the tech'y side of paintball (like me lol), you'll find this a good read THE HALO REPORT (link to PDF file) (http://www.dcltech.com/haloreportv12.pdf).
