egg III?

I am planning to buy an eggII for my 2k Dark, but some of the guys mentioned that a "new" egg III is coming out with poly shells. Has anyone heard about this?

I don't know about the polly shells, but what I heard is it's just a board upgrade. 22 bps I think...design will stay eggish...

Heard the same,supposedly removing the cap on the board to be able to reach 22bps.

the VL guy at MGO told me that they were incorperating the X-board technology in the new board, more bps,no sunlight problems, and maybe a cover or something to go over the variable speed ( pot ) switch. it may be a plug to cover the hole if they do away with the switch, cause i heard that the new board might not have the pot switch, this is NOT fact, just the rumours i've been hearing.
