wuts up im new on the boards but ive had my fly ir3 for about 8 months... anyway heres the deal i play back ive got a 16 inch boomer, 88/45 hyperflow, and chrome kapp drop zone III on it... now i was wondering wut can i do to make my gun really quiet and little to no kick... my gun has very little kick now but id like to get rid of it.. and i see those guys on videos all the time and their angels are so damn quiet!!! they jus sound like little clicks when i shoot my angel its kinda a loud pop sound, i have all stock settings i was wondering wut i can do or wut parts do i need to buy to get my gun really quiet ???

lower you dwell ... i guess a bolt would help . and possibly LPR?
also remeber its a lot louder when your shooting it . i thought mine was loud but when i one of my team mates was using it , it noticed it was one the quietest angel i have shot

well i havnt played with the 16 boomer yet only stock barrel i just got the boomer... u think the long barrel wit more porting will help a lil??? also wut bolt do i suggest i wasnt thinkin the bolt needed to be changed but i am interested in imperial paintball's undertow bolt.. bill is a good friend of mine i play with him a lot and hes done most of the work on my impulse... idk how much that bolt would help sound wise.. o and also... i tried lowerin the dwell to 13 and i noticed a lot more barrel breaks then when it was at 14 cause i do kno lowering the dwell means its harder on the paintballs... could this have caused the breaks> or was it chances i had a bad paint barrel match being i was using my stock barrel????

ok well as for the undertow bolt i have shot one of the team angels that has one and it shotos different than any other angel i have shot , you need ot use one size bigegr than a perfect paint match becasue it needs room to spin , giving ti room to spin causes it to shoot flater . as for sound i find it really isnt that noticable.

the bommer would porbably help in sound reduction . i found my freak helped with that , since the AA tip is ported all around it helps reduce the sound so i believe , im nto too sure though .

As for your paint breakage, the dwell could be resposnsible but so could the paint quality, and so could the paint to barrel match.
i lowere my dwell on my LCD to 10 from 14 and shot Zap Premium paint (jackolanter .. 689) through my stock barrel (689 stepped bore) and it shot fine , no breaks.

as for reducing kick some peopel say that a SS ahmmer helps reduce kick, btu also so does balance. if the gun is perfectly balanced the kick wont be as noticable.

Use a barrel with a lot of porting. My iR3's dwell is at 14 and I use an AA Freak barrel... it's quiet.

Also, try having someone shoot your Angel at you. The noise signature changes dramatically depending on where you're standing. Behind is quite loud compared to in front. Your marker may sound very quiet to everyone but you.

I have noticed that the bore to ball size changes my sound some.I also have a fly with a boomy.

I feel when you are right next to an angel, its louder than what others have, buth when you stand away its REALLY quiet. I think its just how close you are. Be sure to get a good paint match too.

i run with the Fly...(i have 3 fly girls) and they are all nice and quiet ...................the dewell is the key first and then the barrel is 2nd........and for the tank ......get a smaller one so, it is nice and tight......you do not need that size.......

well i play back and lets jus say i shoot a lot of paint... i like my tank size cause the drop zone puts it exactly where i want it i love the way it feels when shouldered.. also since the fly is very light the tank isnt such a hassle... its not that large either .. anyway if im practicin this weekend im gonna try out the boomer and i mite wana mess around wit the dwell but thanx for your input all keep em comin
