Not sure what would cause a bigger boom than the normal dry firing of the gun. Thats the loudest thing i've heard from mine. Where is it leaking? If it's down the barrel, it could be that your valve seal is dead. Remove the valve portion of the lite kit, and check the seal attached to the end of the stem that goes into the valve.

OK, The valve seal is definitely the first thing I'd look at. Don't know that evolve ever used an orange seal, but the stock wdp ones have been orange. Did this happen before you installed the valve portion of your lite kit?

It couldn't possibly b from the lpr, and it's highly unlikely that it is from the mini reg.
With it leaking down the barrel, it must be the main valve seal. Have you removed the lite kit to inspect that yet? Make sure that it isn't an orange oring the blew to pieces, that would explain what happened. Is the leak a slow one or a huge rush of air?

and do u mean to take out the ram and check that or the exhust side?

Yes, the exhaust side, but not at the back by the ram. Get into it from the front of the gun, the tube on the bottom left if you're looking straight at it.

Take out the pin that goes into the valve. At the end that goes into the valve, you should see a seal. Take a look at the one you removed to install the evolve kit. It should be somewhat similar, and be in good condition. With it leaking down the barrel, and you finding and orange piece, it might look a little ragged. It will need to be replaced if it is damaged.
