well then how come they haven't updated the manuals cause the manual clearly shows the bobbin and spring inthe exploded view?

The manual for my G7 Fly has a pic of the newer exhaust valve that the standard G7 introduced.

The new version is the same but without the "star".

yeah i found that out, i went in to see the local angel tech and he told me that it seems i have bigger problems than some supposed missing parts i have unfortunatly a case of corrupted software so my new angel will be on hold for awhile longer hopefully i will be able to use it soon its been three weeks and counting so far.

I noticed the G7's exhaust valve design when I was looking at the owner's manual. It did not look good to me. Is there a very small, tight spring inside that bobbin? Is it a coiled spring? I would think a longer spring would have a more consistent closing force against the valve. The closing force curve can't be very linear as it would approach (hopefully not reach!) the spring's minimum compressed length when the valve is open. Thoughts?

I believe there is a spring in there....very short.
All I know is....it works
