Ok.... It turns out that the tank I purchased was the wrong one (go figure huh..). It has an output of 850. My nearest shop said it would cost upwards of 50 to have it made low pressure... Whats the lowest that it can be set at this way? If I cant get no less then 450 I might as well start looking for another tank.

Anyone think I should just say F* it and get a new tank. Either preset 450 or adjustable.??

If you bought a Pure Energy tank, you can buy the LP rebuild kit here (http://www.piranha-evil.com/PE%20Reator.htm) (2nd item from the bottom of the page) and it looks easy enough to install yourself. If not, you can send your tank to Crossfire and they'll do a hydro and reg swap for you for $70. Or you can just get a new tank.

The marker is a G7 Fly.

My local shop can get the piece for 20, and install it for a "bench fee" of 15-20, but what does it get set at? I think the guy said the best I would get is 450. So does that mean the kit is to lower it to 450? Also would there be any difference in consitancy between my tank and an actual preset low pressure?

there might be a little difference between a preset and the adjusted.
if i were u i'd just sell the 850 and buy a preset 450, imean if ur going to keep the G7 for a while at least

I would sell it and get this http://www.angelowners.com/showthread.php?t=51843 "fully adjustable" for high or low pressure guns so no need to buy some lp kit.

Well I really dont have anyone I could sell it to. Even if I did I wouldn't get full price for it and I'm a little short on cash. (I still got to get harness and pods).

Did I mention I'm unemployed? LoL

Go for the preset, they've much better than the adjustable, in my opinion. All low pressure tanks including Crossfire, tank output pressure is 450. The Conversion kit option is your best bet since its cheaper and still good but "PaintChick79" suggestion about the crossfire reg swap is better, just because i prefer crossfire over PE.
