i just tried to replace my stock bolt so i slid the soft face wdp bolt in but i went to close the bolt chamber and it wouldnt shut. to me it seems like the pin is a little long on the bolt although when i compare it to the stock bolt it looks exactly the same. anybody have the same problem? if so howd you fix it? i was thinking of maybe filing a little off of the top of the pin.

you need to adjust the ram. also air it up before you replace the bolt. it compresses the hammer.

actually my friend had the same problem with his IR3 and we just took a file and shortened the pin, worked like a charm.

Take a look when you close the breech. If the bolt pin doesn't engage with the slot on the hammer at all, then you just need to adjust the ram. This is the most likely cause.
If the pin goes into the hammer slot, but the breech just barely doesn't want to close, then take a look at the length of the bolt pin. But definiteyl try the ram adjustment first, since it's hard to undo the filing of a bolt pin.
