Nasty Little Hobbit

Hello everybody. By the end of the week my angel should be here. I have been wanting to get back to one of my favorite sports for a while. I knew if I got back into P-ball I would get an Angel. I hunted on e-bay for a while and found a good deal. Once my new paint thrower gets here I will have to practice to get my skills back and then find a team to play with. I am really excited to be getting back into Pball and to be playing with the best gun made.
A little history, I started playing back when a really nice set up was a nelson based pump gun with a C/A CO2 tank. My first gun was a Splat Master. I modified it with a 14" barrel (man was that a paint chopping machine). Then I got a Savage pump gun, that gun was scarry accurate. Played on a tourney team and had a blast. Left the game for arious reasons. When I came back a couple of years ago I played with a pump and then lower end semi until I got an Impulse. I sold that last fall, took the winter off and now I have a 2K1 Dark Angel coming.
Many, many times I wished I had kept playing from the very start. I was on a very good team and who knows where I would be playing now. Maybe somewhere in there is a small piece of insight for you younger players. I still enjoy putting on a ghillie and going out to a local rec ball field and well... shall we say "target rich envirment". My true love withing P-ball though is tourney's. Five man is my favorite, Three is fun too and ten.... well the last 10 man I played I shot 3 cases of paint. I kept my front guy alive but man, my hands were tired.
Anyways, It's great to be back.
