Up until recently, I've been a hardcore autococker fan. that is, until I saw the new Fly. I have a few questions about it though:
1.-How does this gun compare (honestly) to the Karnivor?
2.-How high maintenance is it? Essentially, how much work (equal to an autococker?)
3.-What do I need to know about Angels to use one?
4.-What does it feel like? Autocockers have that smooth rythm; does this thing feel like playing paintball on a computer?
5.-Where can I find good deals? best i found was $900 at SakWorld

Thanks for puttin up with my stupid noobie questions.
Peace

1. Everyone has there own preference in feel when holding and shooting different makes of markers.
2. The G7 Fly is a marker that has minimal maintenance. Just keep the bolt/breech/eyes clean and dry, no need to grease or oil the bolt. 1 full charge of the battery last for anything between 100k - 150k shots. Every few cases of paint, put a couple of drop of love juice into the LPR(left chamber).
3. Everything you need to know is in the manual, and theres plenty of threads and stickys on these forums.
4. I play paintball on a field, not shoot at a PC screen in my study..
5. As WDP have stopped production of the G7 Fly's now, and with the new Angel One being released, im sure theres plenty of bargains out there.

Hey thanks, do you have any idea as to why they would stop production? These are the top-of-the-line markers (I've dreamed of owning one since i was 10).

Sorry about the comment about computers. Some guns have no feeling and I was wonderin if the Angel has a feeling or not. Whatever dude. It's nice to hear that finally i can own a gun that I dont have to work on everytime I take it out of the box.

I'll try and keep my eyes peeled for some deals and dealers but thanks for the help.

They stop making the older model when the newer model comes out. Just like car manufacturers.

Have you been dreaming about owning any Angel since 10 or specifically the G7 Fly.....which has only been out for 7 months?

Just got back into paintball after not playin for 5 years. Is the Karnivor as much of a pain to take care of as the mechanical cockers were? I'm like you alwasy wanted an Angel started playin when the LED was the best gun and stopped around the time of the 1st LCD. As a getting back into paintball present for myself I got an Olive Dust G7 Fly, it is amazing!!! www.firstcallpaintball has the G7 Fly for 800 but not many color choices, also many paintball store sell them on ebay I believe I saw regular G7 for 700 if you are interested in that too.

There is nothing at all wrong with purchasing an older Angel (G7, G7 Fly & Speed06 now discontinued) this is probably a great time to pick up a marker that is still at the forefront of markers on the market. The new Angel One is being launched but do’s this mean it make all the other Angels a waist of time? Course not.

The PC/Laptop you are sitting at now, is that the latest model to hit the stores? (And people say WDP change their markers to quick, try keeping up with PC technology, just putting peoples gripes into perspective)

Yes it’s great to have the mew “BLING” but not every one is the same.

Angels always have bin one of if not the most maintenance free markers out there. Even a 4 year old could maintain one. (Nitro manages it lol)

You need no nothing about Angels bar that you are purchasing something you will be proud to use, everything else is in the manual.

What does it feel like? Simple go out and try one, you will not be sorry.
