I am shooting a Dark IR3. The LPR is set at about 100psi, and I am running an AGD Flatline system on it with a Halo B and/or an Evo2 hopper.

It chops/breaks balls in the breach like crazy! I've messed with the ball detent to see if that was the problem and I don't think it is. I've put in several new ones, and I've messed with having it so loose it would let balls roll past it all the way up to the point where it wouldn't let a ball get past it. This hasn't solved the problem. I've set my hammer so the bolt "snaps" into place when I close the breach. I've also messed with making it so it was hard to close the breach and backed it off so it didn't "snap" in at all. This hasn't solved the problem either.

The dwell is set to 15, but I've had it at 14 and 16 with no effect. I chronoed it at about 290fps. I've tried all kinds of paint to, from Blaze to Steel to Evil, and it all gets blown up in the breach.

I've just had the 14 way and ram replaced by a WDP Master tech to boot. It was shooting GREAT before he did this, and I'm to the point where I am going to sell it if I can't get it working.

I'm also having the exact same problem with my 2K1 LCD that the same Master Tech has worked on over 6 times.

Any suggestions?

is it chopping or breaking in the barrel? For some reason I cannot shoot anything out of my stock barrel without breakage. I use my boomstick instead and it works fine.. kinda wierd but whatever. Umm just take your gun to a tech and have the 14 way and ram replaced again? If it was shooting fine before that, then do it. Take it to a tech and see what they say.

First of all is the halo set for brittle paint? Are you having te same problem w/ the evo2? Set the LPR at 95 p.s.i. Make sure you clean the bolt when you chop. Post if it fixes.

I have the same problem with whatever hopper I use. I have a 12v, Evo2 and HaloB, and they chop regardless.

I of course, clean my makers after I break one. This has been going on for quite sometime now, and I've just kept cleaning it up and trying it again. I've had the LPR at 95 psi when I first got my Halo (as per Odyssey), but I had the same problem so I moved it back.

mmm.......have you replace or try to adjust it (your hammer?)....if so....take it out and pull out the hammer and look at the shaft.......and now turn it to see if is straight......if not this can cause a drag in it, and this will thow it off.....

Poor bronc, and everyone on sacpb tells you to go timmy. Just dont!

If you took it to a Master Tech, prolly local right? It has a 45 day warrenty on it. Just take it back and tell him to fix it or watever he needs to do. Check your bolt and ball detent, make sure there isnt like a little peice jabbing forward. Try shooting without the barrel on. Maybe its just a bad ram.
